Based on the previous data, humans will no doubt come out on top. I'd love to see the Qunari come out second, since that would show they've been well received by the community.

Elves are like humans but with pointy ears, which is hard to beat even if the Qunari default to "badass".

Yeah, I think this is how it will go as well.
I think people who are into the lore might lean more towards Qunari than elves, but they (or even just the BSN demographic) aren't going to be the majority of players overall, so I don't think the Quanri=badass is going to be at the forefront of the average person's mind when they're starting up the game for the first time.

Humans are definitly most popular, and dwarves least. Qunari will be popular with those familiar with lore and those who want to have more exotic character. And elves are generally pretty popular as well. In long shot elves will probaply become more popular than qunari.
That said, I myself find humans more boring than other races. I loved both dwarf and elf origins (and used elf character in Mage one) in DA:O, and think qunari would be good character try out first in DA:I.
For me it's between the Dwarves or the Qunari. I'm leaning more towards the Qunari because they're a new character.
Knowing me I'll pick the human race.
I love Dwarves. My main in DAO was a Dwarf Noble, but they will probably be least popular again.

Elves are very popular in fantasy genres and most people love them (myself included), considering in the DA universe they are basically more attractive, magically inclined humans with long pointed ears, thinner frames. Plus, to those new to the DA franchise I can see elves as the second most gravitated to race due to fantasy familiarity.
Qunari come third because of two reasons. For those of us invested in the DA lore and universe, the qunari seem pretty limited in scope as far as the type of character portrayed. While humans, elves, and even dwarves are incredibly varied, we've only seen a limited viewpoint and 'personality type' of the qunari. However, they are horned giants, playing to that 'awesome factor'.
Dwarves come last because, really, few want to be the short fat guy/lady.

Humans will be the most popular for sure, but thats just a given.
Elves will most likely be the second most popular because they look almost exactly like humans in DA:I.
Qunari will be next because they are big horned people.
Dwarves will obviously be last. Even though they are very cool, and Dwarven Noble was by far the best Origin.
