Archer rogue is soooooo damn slow in DAO, I tried this style once, hated it. Went back to duel weapon the next time out.

Loved my Skyrim she-elf Bosmer archer though!

I tried and couldn't, too. Dragons Dogma did a great job with their magick archer class.

Warrior is my least favorite, though it continues to improve.

You read my mind, arcane warrior was my favorite (as far as mages went). It was just really...cool. I had an elven one and omg, I just loved that character. <3

They didn't have anything that really made me enjoy mages in DA2, so the only mage file I've gotten more than halfway through is a rivalmance!Anders mage, only because I was curious about the drama it would create. xD

Max Elemental + Force (at least gravity ring fully upgraded) + the Heal spell (just in case) = The Arishok can't move for most of the fight.     ;)

Oh, I forgot to mention: My favorite class is rogue archers.

I initially didn't like playing a rouge, as I was used to play a more passive role in DA:O as a tank/warrior. But the play style grew on me after a while.

Not a huge fan of warriors tbh. And the rogue is still a far second from mages.

I really don't like playing as a rogue.  I just don't find it to be interesting, outside of the ability to pick locks.  I pretty much always play a warrior first.  I usually play a mage at least once.  And I sometimes get around to a rogue, but usually I go back to warriors.

I don't really like warriors. I like ranged classes better, generally, but I'd rather play a melee rogue than a warrior.

Mages are boring, but I always played one in Dragon Age 2 because I liked Carver more than Bethany (yes, I know you hate him). I preferred dual-wielding warriors in Origins (even though I think that awesome skill where you attacked with both weapons at once was kind of broken?). But if I was playing a non-mage, I felt compelled to go rogue because I hate having to temporarily make some companion deal with traps and locks. I have no interest in archery and found backstab auto-attacks so boring, though. I'll probably be fine with DW rogues in Inquisition. Their daggers are basically swords anyway. But wouldn't it be awesome if they could wield two absurdly huge weapons like in WoW? Yes. Yes, it would. I support dual-wielding broadswords in Dragon Age 4.

I like them all but warrior is my least played, and I've never completed a playthrough of either origins or 2 with a 2 handed warrior, so I'll probably roll a 2 handed warrior lady inquisitor for first inquisition run.

Rogue, it just feels wrong. I like rogue in other games, but rogue in DA seems like an inferior version of warrior since they both share a lot of similar skills. In DA2, Rogue's speed seems to be nerfed with the fast gameplay style. I'm not a fan of archer either. Mages usually deal a lot more damages from afar than archers, so there are more reasons to use mages as range rather than rogue.

I do not enjoy 2-handed Warrior

Rogue/Mage are equal for me

I like Sword and Shield Warriors though.

Mages are wimps.

Archers are wimps.

Light armor wearers are wimps.

Real heroes get in your face and then chew it off. Through that metal helmet you're wearing, if necessary.

I'm fine with all the classes but I could never get into archers in either of the DA games, they just seemed boring compared to duel wielding.  I also didn't really like sword and board warriors much in DA2.

It depends on the game really. In the DA series I don't like playing rogue. I wonder if DA: I will change that.

I will almost always play through first as a dual wield rogue. Then I'll play mages, any type, but I favor damagers. Last will come 2H warriors. The absolute bottom of my pecking order and never played are archers and sword and board although I'd play archers if I enjoyed the way they were handled in DA more, so they come out ahead of sword and board.

Archers in DA and Sword and Shield. I hate those two so much. Nope. So much do not want.

In Origins it was mages. Sure there was some powerful big spells but they took so long charge up. While the little spirit bolt things you shot out of the staff where weak.

In DA2, the warrior class. Just couldn't get into it.

in origins, i usually played the rogue, but i liked both the warrior and mage class equally.

da2, it was warrior or mage, the rogue class pissed me off as the rogues are so damn frail.... plus in order to get bethany into the wardens with that playthrough you had to go down into the deep roads with 2 rogues and 2 mages and not really any form of tank or damage sponge for backup
