I Love playing as a Rogue or Mage.

Warrior. They always felt really slow paced and the other two classes felt like they had more to offer when it came to my playstyle. I just always found combat more fun as a rogue or mage.

I play all of them but my least favourite is Warrior. I just don't really enjoy playing tanky characters in general.

archer rogue, no idea why.... I guess Leliana fits the bill nicely, and but Awakenings, Nathaniel is a one man army, so massively OP it's hilarious really

For me I just could never really get into playing as a mage. I have tried in the past but I just didn't feel comfortable in this play style. Personally my favourite class will always be a duel weapon rogue then sword and shield Warrior but could never get the hang of the mage style. So how bout you guys/gals?
I also tend not to like playing mages.

Warrior seems so boring compared to mage and rogue. They usually have cool armor though.

I've never played as a rogue. I generally don't like playing as them in any game.

Mages, could never get into the hang of it. Healers are good to have around even though I only played them when the crap was going down and my general tactics were failing in some way.
Rogues are my prefered class (MUST OPEN ALL THE THINGS), then warriors.

In DA:O I found 2h warriors quite boring. I made an archer rogue and reached Redcliffe before giving up. Never tried sword-n-board because I'm not a fan of conventional tanking.
I found all the classes pretty entertaining with the right build in DA:2, well, except for tanking warrior which I never tried.

In a Game that isn't about Stealth and Stuff, I never get around playing a Rogue. I just hate being squishy and all that and I usually don't play "simple" DPS Builds. I am still always playing a Tank Warrior, then a Healing Mage - but a Rogue? No.

Not really. Although Warrior and Rogue gameplay got more fun to me in DA2, while mages less. That trend could continue.

Arcane Warrior or Battle Mage.
I don't know. I feel like if you have magic, you should cast spells like a traditional mage. Elemental, spirit, entropy, or healer magic. Mystical energy coming out of your hands like snow magic from Elsa's hands. I don't know, using magic to make your body stronger so you can fight in hand-to-hand combat like a warrior just doesn't seem right to me.
Not disparaging people who like it. I definitely can appreciate you getting into it. I just never could. =(

Tanky warriors are my least favorite in any game, but I love playing DW in Origins and 2H in DA2 (my canon Warden and Hawke, respectively). I like being able to usually kill things before they can touch me, and survive if they do.
While I normally love rogue-type sneaky-sneak backstabbing play styles in other games, I think DW rogue in Origins was really repetitive since the fastest way to kill a mob was almost always to backstab him down to nothing, and that was tedious to watch after about five hours. With DA2, I'm not fond of the visual style of DW rogues, and archery feels redundant given Varric is a permanent party member. So I'd say that, overall, rogues are my least favorite DA class thus far.

There are some things you can do to differentiate from Varric. For what it's worth. I think he shines as a speed demon. While Shadow, Assassin, and Precision sets the Player Archer apart (Sebastian has Shadow powers as well, but he doesn't work as well with tactics, I think. Same goes for his Chain buildup abilities.. this stuff is better when you control it).

i hate playing warriors, i rolled warr once in DA2 but deleted after prologue... sooooo boring. rogue is something i choose if there is a decent/ok-ish stealth mechanics (read: not in DA) and no pesky companions to ruin your approach (again: not in DA).
so... i usually pick a mage.
if there was stealth mechanics in DA:I (well at least on skyrim's level), i'd be a happy camper. otherwise rogue is just another warrior, but with more crit-oriented abilities/bows/crossbow/nug catapult. and warriors are boring ;]
