I like everything.
Except Arcane Warrior in DAO. For all its effectiveness it felt very awkward and slow to play. And not very "magey".

I don't really like playing warriors, particularly two handed in DAO because they seemed so slow. Playing sword and shield with Templar spec was quite effective but I really only play warriors after I have exhausted the other options. I didn't really like rogue archer; my favourite rogue spec is shadow assassin. I love the speed of rogues. I don't do blood mage but I like playing mages. The only reason I didn't play a mage first in DAO was because I was interested in the Dalish and you couldn't be a mage with them, so I chose rogue instead. I found my spirit healer force mage to be very effective in DA2. I recently replayed DAO as a mage with a focus on negating other people's spells (Mana clash, etc) and I actually found that very effective. I usually do the spirit healer/arcane warrior combo so I can get to use armour that I otherwise wouldn't. My mage looked rather good in blood dragon armour. I found it really frustrating in DA2 that I had loads of great armour that neither I nor my companions could use. I am definitely playing a mage first run through on DAI.
Depends on the game and what I know we will run into. Well after I have done research and what not anyway. In DAO I am a Rogue mostly and other times I am a warrior and in DA2 I am always a warrior. In DAI I am leaning towards 2H warrior. I just like being able to dive into the battle and being in the front, sort of like a vanguard.

I have a huge issue playing a fighter/warrior type of class. Never been a fan of playing tanky slow type characters, and oddly warriors in DA games are simply the worse for me to play because I get super bored with it.
Supporter: tank and healer.
I prefer stabby.
Hate the mage class.
I didn't really like 2 handed Warriors in DA:O. It felt clunky and slow. Usually when I rolled a Warrior I'd go sword&board which as a Templar was fun to play.
Warriors and mages.
I'm just a rogue player, through and through.
In DA, I mean. I can play as warriors or mages in other games, but still prefering rogue.
I don't like to play mages. They just feel clunky to me.
I'm not really into swords, I'm much more about shooting... So, I don't enjoy warriors or dual wielding rogues. (It's about time someone invents guns in the DA universe
)

oh Maker, please make it happen! we have Bianca, one step more and we could finally have a remington or whatever, maybe even a tesla coil gun someday
Warrior in DA2. They just feel like they don't do any damage there ^^;
Rogues. I love my rogue companions but I just can't play one, in Dragon Age at least.
In Origins I loved the mage class. It was way too overpowered. Rogue class was very difficult till level 10.
In DAI. None. I loved them all. Especially because my companions didn't have any skills my main had. So I was controlling my main character all the time.
Mages, sorry I just can't bring myself to play one, in any game as a matter of fact. I think the only game I play mages in would be League of Legends and I'm not sure if it counts ![]()
Crossbow archer and mage in origins. In both, the animations took too long and they couldn't defend themselves very well in melee combat without having to switch out on weapon sets.
In two, I feel like they improved on that, archers would pull a knife and bat their opponents with their bows and mages would thwack their enemies with the spear tip of their staves. Daggers this time just bugged me, never a matching set of them and watching them in action bored me, also, if rogues can wield two daggers, why not axes too? Two-handed weapons too, they just seemed to handle like animations ripped out of a final fantasy game, just... no.
I dislike classes that have pet followers or shape-shifting. I also detest death magic.
For now this rules out the Necromancy tree for mages. Other classes seem unaffected and I like them all for now.
This also means that if Dorian turns out to be a necromancer, I likely won't invest any points into the "control the dead" part.
I like a lot of combinations but I absolutely hate playing as a 2H warrior because animations are most of the time to slow and not appealing to me so if i'm playing as a warrior i use dual weapons (Origins) or S&S (DA2).
I LOVE THEM ALL.
I literally can't play as a rogue or warrior, I always have to be a mage. Just like the power I guess.
I tend to avoid warriors. There's basically nothing that can make hacking away with a sword interesting for me. The only one I've played in any DA game is one of my favorite characters, but that's in spite of her class, not because of it. It just didn't make sense to me to have a DN rogue. This was an exception though. Normally I don't play warrior or soldier types at all.

For me I just could never really get into playing as a mage. I have tried in the past but I just didn't feel comfortable in this play style. Personally my favourite class will always be a duel weapon rogue then sword and shield Warrior but could never get the hang of the mage style. So how bout you guys/gals?
Ditto.
Mages are cool, no doubt about it but there's so so so many things!
I'm most comfortable as a rogue, be it dual-wielding or archer.
In DA2, I never liked to play Two-Handed warrior, since I already had Carver and Fenris (I mod my game so Bethany and Carver are always there). I also don't like playing an Archer (literally, I haven't even played one yet) since I have Sebastian and Varric, and the other Rogue skillsets that aren't Archery are less useful to them.
It's not a class, but when Inquisition comes out, I have no desire to play as a qunari. Given the choice, I'd take the option that lets me slaughter the antaam, or at least let me expose the fake utopia for what it is without nonsense zealotry arguments.
Warriors, soooo boring.
My preference is for mage class. It doesn't matter what fantasy game I'm playing, I always choose the magic-user first.
