Do you have a class type you don't enjoy playing?

Warrior. I've only done one warrior playthrough for DA:O and DA2, but multiples for rogues and mages. I'd rather have the computer be the tank, and me be the damage dealer, and I just think dual wielding rogues are more fun for doing melee damage.
Tho I've never played as an archer. It just doesn't interest me at all.

Mages, because they wear dresses.
As good a reason as any. ![]()

I almost invariably end up playing mages. Not much of a warrior. I prefer to stand back in the corner and rain down death while others absorb damage. I did play a rogue Hawke, though, and found that mighty fun.
The one drawback of playing a mage: it sometimes throws off game balance and makes combat too easy. In Origins you could cast "Storm of the Century" and take out an entire room without breaking a sweat.

I hate playing warriors. It just isn't fun to me. I also have a thing against playing archers, generally. Sometimes I can play them, but I bring along a mage or rogue with daggers from my party all the time so that I can play as them during combat instead.

I dislike mages in DA universe. They are so streamlined and strong that they have to make warriors and rogue have supernatural abilities to match. Plus they are mostly boring onetrick ponies but (for DAO) this trick is so strong that makes everything else irrelevant. I'm looking at you blood wound and forcefield.
I usually do runs with all the classes, but this time I will only try KE and that if the melee mechanics are good.
There are more reasons I dislike them. I like magic in the works of Tolkien. It's not people throwing fireballs at each other. It actually has a quality to it. Something that it's not obvious. Even in Harry Potter that it's way more fleshed out, it involves some esoteric process to cast a spell. Not that good, but passable. In da I don't like it. Takes away the magic from the magic. The only good thing is the hardships that mages face due to their connection with the fade, but guess what, we, the protagonist, are too good for demons ![]()

Sword and shield warrior for me. It doesn't feel epic enough. Just seems so ordinary. Plus I hate being a tank.

The mage is the only class that I enjoy paying in DA. The warrior and Rogue are just boring its hack and slash all the time. However with a mage you can be a death dealer, a healer, or a buff/debuffer.

I don't enjoy playing rogue class in Dragon Age.

Warrior. I love playing Mages for the whole 'DESTROY EVERYTHING EVER' power that comes with it (at the cost of going splat in 2 hits). Rogues are more of a middle ground for me, but from what we've seen, I like the look of the Archery skills, so I might play a bow-and-arrow Rogue on my second playthrough. Warriors however are too clunky and slow for me.

Probably mage. Though I don't necessarily hate playing as mages, for the record, I've only played a mage once.

I usually dislike warriors, especially two-handed warriors. I'm not quite sure why but I've never liked them in any game, ever. My favourite class is mage (spirit healer to be exact) but dual-wielding rogue is also fun.

Archer rogues (and warriors, for Origins) and not tanky/sword and board warriors. I don't know why. I did, however, enjoy being a 2handed warrior tank in DA2.
My go-to class is either a sword and board warrior or a healing mage, they are my favorite class type to play.

Rouge. Cant wrap my head round the concept of bringing a small knife to a fight with big swords and magic?

I could never play as a warrior. I am a mage, through and through! Rogue is bearable in DA2.

I loved playing as a rogue archer type in Skyrim, it was done brilliantly in that game I felt. And from the gameplay we saw of Leliana and Sera with their bows it looks pretty sweet in DAI. However I really disliked it in DAO origins tho, too slow and boring.

Warrior. I don't know why, I loved being a rogue most in DAO and thought mages were ok. In da2 I thought mages were great and rogues were ok.
But I don't really have a lot of fun when I try warriors.

With Inquisition I will more than likely pick a Mage class first but this time I am determined to pick a race other than human. Maybe a Qunari or Elf would be interesting depends on if I've got the Will power to break the habit, lol.

I have never finished an Archer in any Dragon Age game. I recently started a female Cousland to rectify that but got bored rather quickly with her, perhaps it was the spec, or just playing a human again, might try it again, maybe I'd go with Dalish this time, try to do two things I've never done before, Elf and Archer.
