I try not to think about Liara's mother. "They always said there would be a bright light." lol

I like to wonder about where writers some times get their ideas and this one really puzzles me. It is such a human thing to say which makes me wonder if they were implying that Liara's mother was into an Earth based religion or that Asari religion is similar. What makes it worse is that the Noveria arc was supposedly written by Chris l'Etoile who likes to make aliens... actually alien.

Whatever the case, awkward moment that reminds me of all the awful Deanna Troi moments.

Dang it Liara, this is why we can't take you out in public. Weird dialogue sections.

Well, in fairness, the surviving parent is a bit better.

She is pretty cool. Although I think I would be a little intimidated to have Atheta as a father-in-law.

How EDI would know is obvious if you've romanced someone on the Normandy, but what if you had a playthrough that involved zero love interests?

EDI is connected to, or arguably is a massive database so presumably knows every recorded detail about the crew including Shepard. I would seem perfectly natural for everyone's record to hold all the details of important relationships.

Which does not of course means she understand the data she can access..

It disturbs me how Liara is able to find out about Shepard's relationships aboard the Normandy. I used genesis on my latest Shepard and romanced Liara, then in ME2 I romanced Jacob (For science) and since I've beaten the game I went on to ME3 and she has knowledge that my Shepard was with Jacob.

Does she really have that many connections to know about what was happening? (I've never played the Shadow Broker DLC) It makes her come across as a stalker girlfriend.

You can ask the same question about every love interest in the series.

Pretty much. There's no way to cheat in secret in any of these games.

Hell, I was mildly surprised there was nothing about it on Galactic news.

"Shepard seen cavorting with subordinate officer!"

"Shocking! The Savior of Citadel seen frolicking around with young quarian!"

"Shepard and Liara T'Soni - love or betrayal?"

Lets face it, it's a prime time gossip material. If nothing else, Khalisah should have picked something up and spun a wild tale about it.

In the case of a Garrusmance, can you imagine how First Contact war veterans would feel upon learning that the most important human soldier in the galaxy is banging a turian  :P

I would have died if Primarch Victus had said something to my Shepard about their relationship with Garrus.

Or, if Hackett or Anderson had said something about Shepard with VS romances. Against Fraternization policy etc.

I can imagine the MEU equivalent of TMZ jumping all over that.

"And check out Commander Shepard, our great representative, getting ready for some of that azure! Guess a spacer's life leaves behind more than just Earth."

Even though my Shepard wouldn't be after Asari ******-tang in a hundred thousand years, if any of those sites even so much as mentioned his name, he'd give them a nice dismantling.

I can imagine the smugness of the entire turian race... and the outrage of papa Vakarian :D

Speaking of which... how do you bang a turian? If this comic is anything to go by...

It's "meeting with new cultures and being encouraged to participate in exchange of experience, thus making the galaxy as whole a richer place" :P

If anyone has any complaints I'll just pull the good ol' spectre card: "Which means I can do whatever I want"

It's my ship, my rules:

I go wherever I want.

I talk to whoever I want.

I bang whoever I want B)

"We may not have conquered your planet, but we can certainly conquer your women"

"Son, you just can't take the normal way out of anything, can you?"

As for the how, just google mass effect kink meme. If thou darest.

Your FemShep doesn't know my Sheploo.

Granted, screwing aliens (especially Garrus) crosses the line from kinky to squick in my opinion. Honestly, I think some characters should not have been romanceable, namely Garrus and Tali.

But, yeah, my Shepard is into bondage.

BRING ON THE STORM!

Whoever wins the fight: Shepard and Miranda bed-wrestle and play fight. So far, Miranda's undefeated. Plus, she always escapes when he does tie her up.

I guess someone at Bioware thought it would be cool for a robot to be asking about stuff like that. It needs to be put back as a hologram and have a ME2 squadmate instead.

I like robot EDI, but I'd gladly trade her and Tali for 2 Mass Effect 2 squad-buddies.
