Anyone ever wonder why Morrigan wont accompany the Warden when she asks them to kill Flemeth?

Doesn't she say she's afraid that Flemeth will try to body-jump right there and then, once she realizes Morrigan knows? Sure, that's probably not the whole story, or true at all, but it does make sense.

Edit. And if you take Morrigan back to Flemeth's hut, she seems genuinely scared. She even pets the dog!

Do you really believe that is the reason?

But in a shocking twist of fate it appears the very time that you bring Morrigan back to Flemeth's hut Flemeth for one reason or another has just up and vanished, what a strange coincidence indeed!

I did acknowledge she might not be telling the truth. Right there in my post. In the part you decided to leave out of your quote.

You acknowledged it, but do you believe it?

It could be true, why not?

You forgot Flemeth talked about Morrigan in DA2, AFTER the Blight, as if she was alive, haven't you ;)?

Yeah but are you really going to trust her word on the matter? The reason she gives the Warden back at camp is enough evidence to prove that she is a liar.

In what matter? The reason why Morrigan wanted Flemeth dead? Yes, she was almost surely lying.
The point is, Flemeth has no reason to lie abour Morrigan in DA2, so there are more hints that the latter is alive then possessed.

Morrigan wanted Flemeth dead? She might have but I guess we shall never know.

I think she wanted an advantage on her for the time she'll (possibly) make the DR and the successive pregnancy. She knew she wouldn't really die.

Stop making stuff up Mary Sue. If Morrigan planned on being possessed she wouldn't have sent the Warden for Flemeth's grimoire. That's what she wanted. Flemeth's power without becoming a glorified meat sack. Morrigan may have known about Flemeth's plan of possessing her before leaving the Wilds, but she just wasn't down with it and turned on Flemeth. Or maybe she really did find out when she read the black grimoire.

My hope has been, since the first game, that Morrigan and Flemeth are actually working together and are trying to run a massive two-woman con on all of Thedas. It doesn't quite line up perfectly with everything that's been said in the games and books, but I cling to it because it'd be so so cool.

Why would Morrigan plan on being possessed? Does the sheep plan to go to the slaughterhouse? I mean that makes no sense and I never once claimed that Morrigan had planned to be possessed so really it is you who is making stuff up.

Whatever. Your speculation is weak sauce and you're trying to pass it off as canon. I don't feed trolls. Deuces.

You know that dragon we have been seeing with four horns sort of reminds me of someone's hair style from da 2, wonder if Flem will finally be a bad girl.

They said she appears in the game. As to what her role will be, we do not know.
