Best kit to use the Executioner Pistol on.

I've tried "stasis-sninping" with it (not powerful enough), I've tried it on the almighty GI, I've tried it on various soldier kits, weapon platforms, but either I'm doing something wrong, or this weapon is a piece of ****.

Anybody know something I don't? Cheers!

Love it.

 

My favourites with it would have to be the QFE, Human sentinel and the Human soldier.

The best is probably the destroyer 2 shot build.  Extended mag + heavy barrel with devastator mode on.  

 

Other than that, I find it a nice damage dealer as a primary for most of the engineers.

QFE. I like the detonating of ammo powers because it makes for a lot of aoe damage.

It's very good on characters with shield stripping powers.
TSent, HE, SE, SI, GE all make very good use of it.
It's also a good primer with disruptor ammo. So, I use it with vorcha hunter, volus engineer, QFE, at times.
Destroyer is good because of 2 shots/clip with DM.

I like the gun, except for the time it shoots blanks. That annoys me, but not enough to make me dislike it.

Destroyer 2 shots build, kits with an instant reload ability like Adrenaline Rush or a shield stripping power like Overload.

Haha, thanks, I'm gonna slap it on my GE or QFE tonight, hopfully if I can make my gameplay less sucky with it. So far I just embarrassed myself with it.

I really wanna like this gun, it sounds pretty fuckin hot, but I guess I was doing it wrong, shooting at shielded enemies with it, and expect them to die from one shot... (I know, I know, just the gun being able to have only one in a chamber would make you assume that for a pistol it would pack much more of a punch).

Asari Inf or the no fitness build

 

Vanilla Human Sentinel (Warp, Shoot, Throw, Throw; this should produce a Tech burst and a BE in quick succession)

 

Make sure to hide the reload animation with casting a power.

Eh?  That's the perfect use for it.  I use it for my Asari adept stasis sniper alot.  It's just about as good as the arc pistol for that purpose.

Executioner is far from a PoS. Try it on the FQE or you can try out my shadow build with it.

It's good on the Destroyer.You can also slap a scope on it and have a decent sniper pistol.

Maybe I should go with the headshot barrel instead of the heavy barrel.

When I stasis snipe I build everything towards that.  Headshot barrel, head shot bonus for asari on 5 passives, VI Vulnerability mods, Phasic rounds.

 

For the gun I use a scope and the head shot trauma module.

I think the Executioner is a pretty average gun if you're not getting OSK on mooks.  That means either using it on a class with a shield stripping power, or maybe using Phasic rounds.  The kits you listed are the best ones for it, IMO.  Otherwise, guns like the Paladin are better if you're going to have to 2SK.  

 

This is my favorite Executioner build.  You will OSK pretty much any Gold mook (including Phantoms) with Overload + a body shot with this build.  For Platinum, you might need to switch to APIV ammo and take a Power Amp module in order to ensure OSK.  Use alternating Overload and Incinerate as reload cancels for the Executioner to continuously chain tech explosions while you're firing away.

 

EDIT:  I don't actually use the Adrenaline Mod now that I think of it - I use the Power Efficiency Module.  I know it only saves like 0.36 seconds cooldown, but with Incinerate's short priming window, that can actually make the difference between a fire explosion and just Overloading a Brute like an idiot.

Vorcha Soldier. Has good synergy with Flamer and Carnage (very easy to hide the reload), but more importantly, Lore. Access to the power mod doesn't hurt either.

Destroyer cause you can get a double shot executioner (gosh that sounds like a funky alcoholic drink lol), with the clip attachment and max clip in devastator mode, you'll get an extra shot. It is freaking juicy. :D

I thought there were some enemies (maybe it's just Praetorians) that you needed 2.5m penetration to double hit.  I admit that I'm not that familiar with how much penetration it takes to double-hit things though, so I make sure I always have 2.5m if that's what I'm going for.
