I am new to the game and to this forum. Forgive me if I am posting this in the wrong place but it seems like a general forum.

Anyway, I have just arrived for the first time in Lothering and I have Liliana, Morrigan and Alistair in my party. I keep getting pummeled in battles around town despite the fact that I have allocated the best weapons and armor in my inventory to all of my characters in addition to instructing them as best I can regarding behavior in battle (tactics).

Liliana (crossbow) is set for ranged attack, Morrigan (staff, lightning) and Alistair (two-handed sword) are set to attack those who attack me. My character (Mage with staff, lightning) is set to heal myself and party members when health gets below 50%.

During battle, I try to cast the frost spell when I am not healing because it seems to do the most damage but by the time I hit the first couple enemies most my party is dead or close to death.

Any help from all of you experienced DragonAgers would be much appreciated! Thanks!

You may still get an answer here though, as I'm sure lots of Mass Effecters have DA:O as well. I personally do not yet, and therefore cannot help except to direct you to the right forum!
