So will this be the DA game with the least amount of romance options instead of the one with the biggest???

 

lets clarify...

 

if you want to play as a MALE character and you WANT to romance a female COMPANION you will have no choices because there will be only one... cassandra.

 

lets go back a little. DAO you had two options, DA2 you also had two options. now for the first time you have no options because there is ONLY one companion for you to romance.

 

not just that but this puts DAI as the bioware game (i think from all bioware games ever released, correct me if im wrong) as the one with the least amount of romance options if you want to play as a male character and you want to have a romance with a companion.

 

thats...well... not nice. anyway i just wanted to post this here seeing that bioware like to listen to us.

 

this game improved a lot from the games before. on the romance part of it they are finally listening to those who wanted a better distribution of m/m and f/f options and thats nice. also gameplay looks MUCH better.

 

i just hope that next time the can do it better about romance options for those who want to romance a female companion with a male PC. After all, in this game we pretty much ended up with no options because there is ONLY cassandra as a female companion to romance. at older games at least we always had options, like more than one companion to choose from.

Bisexual male: Cassandra, Scribbles and Dorian

Straight female: Cullen

Gay female: Sera or Scribbles

Bisexual female: Sera, Cullen or Scribbles.

 

Bisexuals have the most options. There is also a yet to be revealed bisexual male.

It will have the most amount of options possible of any DA game. You will have to play different PC's to get every option, but they are still there, more numerous than ever before.

Why exactly is Scribbles/Cullen not being companions a bad thing?

that would put us back on the same field with any other DA game released before, in other words we would have choices about which companion to romance.

 

but so many people here think she will not be a LI, so i dont have high hopes.

People think they will have less content since you can't bring them with you. But if you look at some of the demo videos and trailers they are seen outside of the main keep-thing. I think they actually can come with you if the circumstances allow.

We have some confirmed LIs, but this isn't all of them. They haven't confirmed what the total count is. It could be more than the 6 that some people suggest. We don't know. I would wait until we get the confirmed, full list to worry.

I'm not seeing how bisexuals can not have the most options. Unless everyone is straight or everyone is gay. Even then they still tie.

Yeah, I thought that might be one of his reasons. Even if the advisors get less screen time, their romances won't be any less valid. Traynor and Cortez weren't any less valid than Liara or Kaidan.

i dont think its a matter of content, but that you cant take advisers with you WHENEVER you want WHEREVER you want. they cant fight besides you throughout the whole game.

 

anyway this is not the point of the topic. we are comparing companions romance options with companions romance options, not advisers PLUS companions with companions. till now we always had choices in the "companion department" (like more than one companion) now we have no choice because there is only cassandra.

and dont think "fine" is the word it should be used. but that is what it is.

 

doesnt chance the fact the this game will have the least amount of options of romanceable companions from every DA game released and probably from every bioware game ever released.

 

 just dont get me wrong the game still looks awesome and improved from every DA game before.

 

but i still would like to use this space to share my disappointment about this "aspect" of the game in the hope that it will be better next time, like a return to actually having options again.
