So will this be the DA game with the least amount of romance options instead of the one with the biggest???

 

lets clarify...

 

if you want to play as a MALE character and you WANT to romance a female COMPANION you will have no choices because there will be only one... cassandra.

 

lets go back a little. DAO you had two options, DA2 you also had two options. now for the first time you have no options because there is ONLY one companion for you to romance.

 

not just that but this puts DAI as the bioware game (i think from all bioware games ever released, correct me if im wrong) as the one with the least amount of romance options if you want to play as a male character and you want to have a romance with a companion.

 

thats...well... not nice. anyway i just wanted to post this here seeing that bioware like to listen to us.

 

this game improved a lot from the games before. on the romance part of it they are finally listening to those who wanted a better distribution of m/m and f/f options and thats nice. also gameplay looks MUCH better.

 

i just hope that next time the can do it better about romance options for those who want to romance a female companion with a male PC. After all, in this game we pretty much ended up with no options because there is ONLY cassandra as a female companion to romance. at older games at least we always had options, like more than one companion to choose from.

and dont think "fine" is the word it should be used. but that is what it is.

 

doesnt chance the fact the this game will have the least amount of options of romanceable companions from every DA game released and probably from every bioware game ever released.

 

 just dont get me wrong the game still looks awesome and improved from every DA game before.

 

but i still would like to use this space to share my disappointment about this "aspect" of the game in the hope that it will be better next time, like a return to actually having options again.

 

Just as a question, are you expecting less than 2 romanceable characters?  Because that's what DAO and DA2 gave you (in DAO's case, sometimes only 1).

 

I disagree with the mandate that it's less of an option because of some qualification of companion characters, and will happily state that Scribbles' romance is pretty damned cool.

I think that it's unnecessarily scrutinizing.  If you wish to feel that this game will be subpar because of this, then the silver lining is that you now know and can make an informed decision.

 

 

again please excuse me if this distresses you. its not my intention to start here one of those very "hot" topics that end up in a war of words.

 

i only wanted to post that we do have less choices now than we had before in the "companion department" hoping that in the future bioware considers going back to the 2 companions choices of romance. thanks for reading!

 

You're the one distressed and you're acting unreasonable now.  You're now explaining obvious things to people that already know the thing you're saying.
