No they picked the right one, i have yet to hear a voice in the bioware games i have played that does not do the character justice

Anything that wasn't the Laura Bailey voice is the WONG one, yo. Well, with the exception of Tara Platt but she wasn't in SRIV, blasphemous decision.

It's not like I'm complaining much though just expressing a bit disappointment but there it is.

Personally, I found female and male Shepard's voices to be completely jarring the Mass sequels so I'd argue against that.

I liked Hale in ME1 though when she wasn't trying too hard to be butch and put on a raspy voice like she's been taking lessons from her friend David Hayter. :)

I would have preferred the inquisitor being able to be a foreigner with an accent (i.e Orlasian or Antivian) as opposed to being a boring old smelly Fereldan again...

That would alienate american players.

I hope at least one VA will be able to pull deep rich voice suitable for qunari or dwarven Inquisitor.

Out of all the Saints Row female voices, they chose teh WONG ONE! :I

Uuuuummm Nyreen in Mass Effect was fantastic. Unless you mean Laura Bailey, whom I absolutely adore, but she's so overused in everything along with Troy Baker. I'm really excited to use her voice for my femQunari!

As for Jon Curry, i'm really happy that he's the American voice since I'm using the AMerican voice for my Elven Quisitor to sound more exotic + The Sabrae tribe in DAO at least were American, so I wanna be an American Elf, + the Ferelden accent is getting a little old on me and personally I don't think it'd make sense for my elf to have a Ferelden accent if he was a Dalish, just a personal preference. So Jon Curry will be playing an elf again, at least in my playthrough :3

What do you mean "unless I mean" I specifically said her name in my previous post, lol -- I've seen the argument of "She's used SOO MUCH" before and I'm gonna have to put some salt on that tired argument -- Do you not think a lot of voice actors aren't finding jobs all the time? Her fellow voice actor and husbad, Travis Willingham, definitely do. It's ridiculous to assume otherwise, all you need to do is pay attention and you'll notice tons of recurring voices in video games. It's only when people actually start "pointing it out", where it then suddenly becomes a problem. Perhaps it's because some feel she's played too "iconic" characters that she shouldn't be recasted. I'd beg to differ though as I feel her range is incredible, and most of the more prominent characters she's voiced sound relatively different from each other -- Take Yuri Lowenthal for instance. A lot of people adore his talents and he's been in a lot of stuff but I don't anybody crying about him suddenly voicing a character. It's about the talent. From my perspective, her voice is badass and I think it would suit a smarmy main character and if not her then Tara Platt, Xanthe Elbrick, Michelle Ruff, Wendee Lee and the list goes on. She's not the only I would have liked to see, the reason why I pointed her out at all in this case is because the one they went with did one of the Saints Row voices anyway. -- Heck I think there's a lot of good voice actors within the anime biz, who's only done a few video game roles that aspires talent!

Troy Baker & Laura started out with doing iconic voices for anime, like Full Metal Alchemist anyway.

I know, but I went and watched a Skyrim video of the guy he voiced in that game. No American accent there either. So I've heard 2 different roles so far, and it keeps not being that accent. So you can cram the sarcasm.

Jon Curry voiced Bucky Barnes on Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes. I'm really not certain why you are having an issue understanding an actor can sound different.

The solution would be a French Inquisitor Voice Pack DLC.

Of course the french version of the Game would need something else.

Dude calm your knockers. I love anime xD And I love all of the VA's you've listed. I'm not saying she or Troy Baker are a problem. i love how they're getting rich and famous off of their beautiful voices, however I am a firm believer that fame should be given to those who deserve it. "A List" VA's like TB, TW, LB and other Anime VA's already have major roles in variety of anime and video games. I love how Bioware is more expansive on their roles and hire people and give them more recognition where they deserve it. For example, British MaleQuizzy's voice, He's literally in barely anything aside from theatrical productions. But from what we've heard so far, i'm excited over his voice. Jon Curry has a wide range too and don't get me started with Alix, she's fantastic! I'm excited to hear our American Voiced Femquisitor and I'm sure Laura Bailey and other big name voice actors already have their hands full in various other series of entertainment that require their excellent talents. I'm sorry for being a person who appreciates someone who should be appreciated.

And PS I didn't see your previous post about being specifically Laura Bailey sorry xD

I am calm -- There was no malice or anger that you might have perceived in my comment at all :)

It's not like I disagree with but I feel Alix overshadows other potentially strong voice actresses that previously had played minor characters in Dragon Age 2 or Origins. The reason I loved Jo Wyatt a lot was because she was anomaly and at the same time very good. So it's not like I'm open minded. I've had a lot of voice actresses to list, as wish fulfillment for myself, but it's not like I can't care for anything I might not have expected. I just wish it would have been anybody but Alix being the English one, mostly because I already associate her with plenty of BioWare characters, which I don't do with Laura Bailey. She might be in a lot of games, but her voice isn't quite as iconic as Baker's yet. Not to mention that because they are so talented, then I believe their talent should always be utilized as best as possible. :)
