I'm not excited, as I'm waiting for it to hit the budget-bin before I get it. The last few Bioware games whilst good, solid games have all been a disappointment to me.
I'm going to have to kindly ask you to leave this thread. The purpose of this thread is to get people hyped up and excited about the game by sharing just how excited we are.
You're souring the mood.

Dragon Age.
Dragon Age was the game I was most hyped up for but this game blows it away. DAO (though awesome and tons of fun) is a very distant second. I was eager to play DAO but for ME2 I'm practically shaking with anticipation.

And possibly lowering expectations to somewhere below 'The Second Coming'. The way people talk here, if it isn't the perfect game ever in the entire scope of reality, the multiverse and everything, people will form suicide cults from the disappointment. That or sing Country & Western songs...

This game IS the second coming of course. Mass Effect 1 was the first coming. Speaking of coming, that is what I did when I saw the launch trailer.

Never. For me this is the first time that I have followed a game this closely during development. I was very excited about ME1 as well, but not nearly as much as I am for ME2.
Same here.

Everything else I've got after it was released, and I never followed it in the months leading up to the release.

Oh yeah I completely forgot about Spore... Biggest disappointment of my life! I still stand by the story that if Will Wright had his way and was left alone by EA he would have made a great game.

ME was the first time ive ever played a game over 30 times. ME2 is the first time ive ever preordered a game. its the first time i ever took off work for a game (the whole week, even monday). actually i passed on hooking up with a girl about 2 years ago, because i wanted to go play ME. ME is bringing alot of firsts for me, thats for sure.
