Only 2 come to mind in recent memory - Dragon Age: Origins and Metal Gear Solid 4. It's sad to say that I had trouble sleeping the nights before their release and probably will be the same come Monday, heh.

I don't think I've ever been quite this excited for a game before. ME2 is something special definitely.

Dragon Age was the game I was most hyped up for but this game blows it away.  DAO (though awesome and tons of fun) is a very distant second.  I  was eager to play DAO but for ME2 I'm practically shaking with anticipation.

This game IS the second coming of course.  Mass Effect 1 was the first coming.  Speaking of coming, that is what I did when I saw the launch trailer.

Spore...for 3 years I looked forward to that game...

Finally got it on launch day and it sucked wang.

Since then I do not allow myself to get too hyped for games ;p Mass Effect 2 tried to hype me, but I wouldn't let it! At first!

But 3 more days >.> It has me.

Honestly, I was never this excited about a game except for Diablo 2 and the first Mass Effect. Diablo is the only other game I've ever pre-ordered. Even Mass Effect I got well after it had come out, because I was waiting for it to come out on PC.



Everything else I've got after it was released, and I never followed it in the months leading up to the release.

Oh yeah I completely forgot about Spore... Biggest disappointment of my life! I still stand by the story that if Will Wright had his way and was left alone by EA he would have made a great game.

ME was the first time ive ever played a game over 30 times. ME2 is the first time ive ever preordered a game. its the first time i ever took off work for a game (the whole week, even monday). actually i passed on hooking up with a girl about 2 years ago, because i wanted to go play ME. ME is bringing alot of firsts for me, thats for sure.

The only games so far, in the game history, that caught me like that were WarCraft: Orcs and Humans, Ascendancy, Little Big Adventure, Baldur's Gate, Mass Effect, Dragon Age: Origins and now Mass Effect 2!
