So, I just talked with Malene Calis, the Asari on Noveria who wants Shepard to plant a bug on a Binary Helix rep. When Shepard said that was illegal, Calis said that Shepard was known for her "moral flexability." I was like, "what"? All the other times I have chosen that option Calis has said something like "do you think Binary Helix follows all the laws?" or something to that effect. So why the change in dialogue?

Never heard that line before. Without having seen your entire playthrough, I cannot say for certain what triggered it, whether it was specific choices, or your morality bar.

But that was interesting to say the least.

Probably because you've got a lot of both Paragon and Renegade points.

I tend to mix paragon/renegade most of my playthroughs, and that line is what I nearly always get out of the asari.

I remember getting that line when my Shepard had even Charm/Intimidate points.
