Now that we know who's available for who (or at least 6 out of the 8 possible) I've come to a pretty sure list to follow:

 

• Dorian with a male elf rogue.
• Iron Bull with a lady dwarf rogue.
• Sera with a lady qunari mage.
• Cullen with a lady human mage.
• Josephine with a lady qunari rogue.

Then I'll figure it out from there. I'll probably romance Viv with a lady mage if she's available for both sexes, and the male companion with a male rogue, if he's bisexual.

First playthrough- male qunari warrior named Kandaar (I put two dutch words together). Hoping to romance Josephine(Aka scribbles).

Second playthrough- Male Human Rogue named Edward. Hoping to romance Cassandra.

Third playthrough- Male elf mage named Tellyn with no romance.

I've got about 20 in mind, but I'll narrow it down to 6. 

 

• Human female warrior #1 Alexandra. Probably Cullen but I may try the Iron Bull, just out of curiosity and may try a one night stand with Sera if I get even more curious.
• Elven male rogue #1 Milan. Probably Josephine, but I'm not afraid to experiment with the Iron Bull or Dorian on this one.
• Qunari female warrior Anisa. Iron Bull, no questions asked.
• Human female warrior #2 Johanna. Her I just plan on a typical straight female, so if by chance Cole is able to be romanced by a female, I'll probably do it with her, but if not I'll just stick with Cullen.
• Elven male rogue #2 Kamil. This one's a toss up, I'm leaning toward a romance with Dorian or Varric if possible, but if I change my mind I'll probably just stick with Josephine, or give Cassandra a try, despite her looking like a horse.
• Elven (maybe human) female warrior (or Knight Enchanter mage) Abigail. This is one I might try something funky with her. I could try Josephine or Sera, probably Sera with her being an elf an all that, but in the occasion that I decide to just go with the straight route, I'll have her screw the Iron Bull just to keep it nice and funky.

Human Male Necromancer named Necro, Vivienne is the only option since I tend to like sticking my mages with other mages, if she's not available, there is no other option

 

Female Dwarf Warrior, Varric, if Varric isn't available, the Dwarf will be Male, and maybe Cassandra but not set in stone yet

First Playthrough:  Human Female; Elemental Force Mage (or the equivalent hopefully imported from DAII via The Keep) named Audrianna will romance Josephine

 

Second Playthrough: Human Female Elemental Arcane Mage (or equiv.) named Noria (imported via the keep as she was in DA II to the best of my memory) will romance Vivienne (if she is available) if not, then I will romance Sera (not as a 'second choice' but on the same level of interest as simply another option)

 

Third Playthrough: Elven Female Rogue Archer named "Nyah" ( and modeled as closely as is possible after Evangeline Lily's character in The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug) who will most definitely romance Sera with exclusivity

 

Fourth Playthrough:  Elven Female Mage (Spec. Unknown) will romance Sera

 

Fifth playthrough:  Human Male Mage (Knight Enchanter) will romance Cassandra (cause she's a hottie and she deserves some TLC)

 

Sixth Playthrough: Human Male Rogue Archer will romance Vivienne

 

Seventh Playthrough: Human Male Mage will cast his spell over all the ladies (except Sera because she....prefers a woman's touch, haha)

 

Eighth play-through: Elven Male Mage will not romance anyone but have a lot of BFFs of both genders.

 

Ninth play-through:  I've never ever played as a Dwarf before, so I might just play as a female Dwarf warrior (and see if I can't find out what all the fuss about Varric's chest hair is)....Though my ulterior motive is to do my best to make Bianca jealous and (hopefully) he'll forget about putting his hands all over her....many curves

 

Then I will start all over again from the top. But my two "canon" playthroughs will be Female mages, one who romances Vivienne, or more likely Sera, and the other Josephine

My first playthrough will be a Male Elf Rogue, romancing Cassandra (assuming she's not race-gated against them. I don't think she will be). 

 

If I like the game enough to warrant an immediate second playthrough I'll probably go for a Male Dwarf Warrior romancing Iron Bull. 

 

I'd probably get bored of playing Inquisition by then, but were I to come back to it later I also want to try a Female Qunari Mage playthrough with Sera as the LI at some point. 

 

Only the first one is set in stone at the moment. The others depend on feedback I get about the other romance paths and race-specific content, as well as how much I like the other companions in-game.
