Dwarves... I can't stand playing as a dwarf in any game that has the option.
A race you don't like playing as?

Why are they boring?
Because it's a fantasy world where there is magic and demons and spirits and dragons... And humans we have in the real world.
I guess the easiest explanation is that the other races are just vastly superior and leaves humans with no value in playability to me.
Dwarves? Short = adorable
Elves? Pointy ears are the cutest.
Qunari? Horns AND pointed ears! Super duper cute!
Humans? Um... they are familiar....?
Also, people have preferences. Those are aesthetics I like, and since humans don't have those options, I wont be playing them.

Elves. I can't get into them on ANY fantasy setting.

Human have perseverance, they are the ruling race despite being the weakest and you can be sure humans manage to live under the most dire circumstances. Heck if humans wanted to they could create a thriving empire in the dwarven mines.

Don't care, they don't have horns or cute pointy ears. ![]()

i usually play elves #1 and humans #2, i just found that, in origins, the dwarf characters just didnt fit me for some reason. To this day i have no clue why i avoid the dwarves, even when i like oghren and varric... just one of those weird things.... Another is the qunari, i dont plan to play one unless an achievement is associated with it, or maybe after ive almost burnt up my console playing the game so often.... the reason being is the qunari have always seemed really foreign in dragon age games and the addition of a pc being one kind of screws up that whole mysterious vibe thing for me

definitely humans
I enjoy playing elves, but....idk why, but...no matter how many times I use the CC, my elf wardens always look..pinched....I restarted my dalish twice

For the record I tried to make a dwarf in DAO and she ended up looking like Rosanne Bar with a lot of plastic surgery.

Nonhumans mostly.

Dwarves and often Elves. I'll more than likely be sticking with Humans and Qunari for my playthroughs.
I may give an Elf a shot. I'll see how I feel. I highly, highly doubt I'll ever play as a Dwarf.

My least favorite race is dwarf. I like their culture and their history, but I'm shallow enough to dislike their physical appearance. As a result, I don't like having to stare at a dwarf character for the course of the game. I make exceptions for female dwarves though. I think they are cute, but I just can't bring myself to make a male dwarf.
Qunari, humans, and elves are all fine though.

Each time I played a dwarf in DA:O, I quit near the beginning of Ostagar. They just never appealed too much to me.

Well...we'll just have to agree to disagree.
Humans can be just as fun to play. Humans don't have powerful abilities in real life. They are NOT the same. Its trendy to hate on humans so I do get what you are saying. I just disagree

Dwarves, but only because my favorite class is a Mage.
Even then, i still really like dwarves.

Human just because the player is forced to be one in so many games. I like playing a human, but I don't like being forced to play a human when there are Elves and Dwarves and Twi'leks and Asari running around.

Dalish. Don't have much love for nationalists obsessed with their past, would prefer city elf.
Human - neutral.
Qunari - intriguing.

I'm a rare type, I personally like to play all of them. I ran through DAO playing as both genders of each origin at least once and a couple multiple times.

While I am not against playing as human (Human Noble Warden and Hawke were plenty fun), it is least favourite race to choose - mostly because I always want to try something more exotic. (Qunari Inquisitor, here I come!)
That is, if I play as female. As male PC I most likely to try fall back for more familiar races.

I'm not really that interested in the Cow men, mostly because given that they have no relations to the Qun at all it just seems sort of irrelevant to play as them for me at all.
