I typically have the most fun as a human male.

Everything else can potentially be fun if I do it right so I don't really dislike any race.

However, I am slightly averse to playing male elves and Qunari in general. DA:I might change my mind :)

-cries when people use dwarves height as a reason- What's wrong with short people, huh?! -shakes fist- before anyone gets offended, I am kidding

I play all races. But in order of favorite to least is...

Dwarf

Elf

Qunari

Human

I'm not really interested in playing a Qunari, but I will do it and human...I don't know, it will probably take me a while. It took me forever to actually complete a human play through.

My least favorite race is most definitely an elf. After this my least favorite tends to be human.

I am a dwarf fan and to me they always look the best in heavy armor. The more a character looks like a square because of height and width the better I think heavy armor fits him/her.

Dwarves.. love their technology and ingenuity and I find their culture interesting but I don't really like playing a character that is shorter than everyone else.

I always wanted to be taller IRL so I just can't roll a Dwarf but I love being around them. So I guess I'm pretty boring because I tend to stick to humans and elves.

Dalish elves. I don't want to play as a racist traveller thanks. Also don't really like their tattoos.

Why did they remove the City Elves as an option?  :crying:

I do not want to play a qunari. I hate the way they are presented, and I hate that the only people who argue against them are the church militant crazies whose arguments are basically "They are heathens!" Not "They steal your children away", not "they mindwipe you if you don't want to be like them" not "you become slaves", just mindless arguments, akin to Dalatrass Linron's racism rather than the sensible arguments that are so obvious to see.

I don't like the Dalish Elves, but Lanaya and the Sabrae Clan were somewhat open-minded enough. Not the qunari, no one treated them for what they were. So, I'll play a Dalish, but a qunari? No

Non-mage humans. I could never warm to my human noble in Origins because I don't like being a person of privilege.
Didn't feel the same with the Dwarf noble though because being exiled onto the surface made them be treated like every other dwarf up there.

I also don't like being a male dwarf. If I could make one as good looking as Varric then maybe I'd feel differently though :P

I want to play as the human solely because I could name him "Alec" and make him look like 006.

Humans and elves. Humans are a bit better, but I'd be perfectly haply to never play as either again in a DA game. Even though I actually think that the female city elf origin is thensecond strongest of those stories, I've never gotten an elf past Ostagar.

In Baldur's Gate, I always played as dwarves, half-orcs, or gnomes. And in The Elder Scrolls games, I always play as orcs or argonians.

Just not interested in humans or elves at all.

Female Dwarves mostly, still don't like the DA:O proportions. However was fine with Male Dwarfs, must be the beards.

Dwarves. Short, fat, and hairy are not a good look in any world.

Can't stand playng a human in a fantasy setting.

for what I can can remeber, I never played a human if I have the chance of any other race. The only games I liked with race restriction where ME and KOTOR. But I would have played as a Twi'lek or a Turian in an istant if I could.

In NWN1/2 I loved the half elves and the tiefling, but most of all I have played Drow and half Drow. In DAO I still haven't played a human character. I'm simply not interested. I fing playng a fantasy character add a lot more "fantasy feeling" to the experience. and human is too mainstream for me.

It was one of the bigger issue I had with DA2. I can't help but hate Hawke. that shemlen wasn't my character! not in the DA world!!! I have to roleplay in my mind she have elven blood somehow (since we never see Malcom Hawke in face)

I have already planned for DAI at least one elven lady, one dwafette and one quanri. may change idea based on romance options. but surely I would not play a human character.

Dwarf...I just can not get into them.  I can never make them look how I want and they just I suppose have nothing of interest to me.

I have the same dwarf problem actually. Mages are by far my favorite class. But dwarves are still by far my favorite race so... paradox anyone? lol. Wish I played on PC sometimes just so I could download a mod to play a dwarf pc. Oh well.

I have decided my first inquisitor will be a mage elf because of that. And my second a dwarf rogue. I want to play as a boy first and then a girl so win win situation (only thing cooler than a dwarf is a female dwarf).

Dalish elves. I don't want to play as a racist traveller thanks. Also don't really like their tattoos.

Why did they remove the City Elves as an option?  :crying:

Who said you have to play as a racist??? Not all dalish are like that... I do wish we could play as a city elf though. Way cooler and more interesting imo.

Never had a desire to be a dwarf. I can't finish an elf playthrough, Most of them are just so fugly in DA. I'm mildly interested in playing a Qunari.

I like playing all the races and genders in DA games. Since I roleplay, it does not matter if my character is a dwarf or a human or an elf because I would usually have a good roleplaying reason to roll that character in the first place.

However, I do have a quibble regarding male elves. I do not hate them or anything but I am quite saddened by the fact that male elves in DA games have no facial hair. Tis' truly a sad thing.  :crying:

Why Bioware ? Why ? For perspective, just look at my profile picture. The sheer awesomeness of a male elf with facial hair. Couple that with Vallaslin and you have one heck of a combination. Seriously, the badassery would be too much,
