Of the companions I'm most excited about Vivienne and Sera. Of the advisors, definitely Josephine. :-)

The ones that I am interested in is rather small, some characters aren't clicking for me but that can easily be changed the moment I meet them in game. But from just first impression stance it's like this;
Cole: I enjoyed Cole immensely in Asunder, and he's a fantastic lore type of character. Gives us a chance to learn more about demons/spirits while also having a very sweet sounding character. He's interesting to me, and I want to learn more about him, see how he acts around other characters and how they react to him. I could also relate and empathize with his plight of the invisibility thing and the crushing breath sapping descriptions of loneliness, fear, and feeling completely helpless. So I want to see how he handles himself now that he is being shown to be taking steps towards getting past all of that.
Solas: Like Cole, he represents a lore aspect that I have been bothered by throughout the DA series. He's a mage that is smart enough to not bring attention to himself enough to not get the peeked interest of the Templars/Circle, it had always bothered me that mages just can't blend in or hide themselves since it's such a massive taboo for magic to be done. He also is into the whole Fade stuff and seems very educated in that, and the Fade is seriously my favorite thing in the DA lore. Helps that he's a male elf as well, I seem to enjoy the male elves companions more than the others. But all in all his character description is interesting, being introverted and not bombastic or moody like many of the characters sounds rather refreshing.
Then there's some that I am mildly interested in, like Dorian, Iron Bull, and Cassandra, but other than that the rest of them aren't really making me all that interested.
Varric I know already, and he was fun before but I certainly got my fill of him in the last game. Vivienne I have zero interest in because everything I have heard and seen about her just make me blek. No amount of fab is going to make me interested in a snobby politically manipulative person, I so rarely get along with them and she doesn't seem any different. Sera I have had zero interest from the moment I saw her to the interviews, even less than Vivienne. Not a fan of 'reckless wild cards' or characters who do things on whims and just in general sounding like a little bratty child. Don't like trouble makers, and generally I don't buy it when a character is described as 'fun'. My idea of a fun character isn't one who is hypocritical, 'defender of the middle man' and seems to be a highly emotional hot head that's quick to offend.
Black Wall could be interesting, but for some reason I keep forgetting him and he's left little to no impression on me.
The advisors I... uh.. eehhh. I suppose Cullen is one I'm interested in, if only to finally get the ability to talk and learn about him since in the previous games I don't remember him at all. I mean, I'm not frothing at the sight of him, he's just sort of there for me. Josephine is a little interesting but I got nothing from the interview about her. Then Leliana I know. How could I not. She's everywhere and know so much about her and it's like there's no escaping her. I was never that big of a fan of her in the original game, (I always opt'd for Zeveran in rogue spot because he was my fave in that game next to Sten) nor did I ever find her all that interesting. Yes she's badass, thank you I have seen that loads, she's clearly hardened and more badass okay great. I just. I'm a bit tired of her.
All subject to change depending on how they are in game of course.

As of this point, here's who I'm excited for:
Cullen - I'm one of the "Bro-llens", I think he's reasonable, been through a lot, and I want to see more of him. Like how he is off-duty
Cassandra - I like her character, she's a refreshingly strong hottie that learns from her mistakes and uses her brain and brawn together. Just from that, she's better than 95% of most female characters in things, because they are usually either fanservice or Mary Sues.
Solas - I'm very intrigued by the concept that the Fade is not scary for Solas because, for other people, they grew up on stories that the Fade is scary, so it reflects that. It reminds me of Silent Hill, that it's only what you bring with you.
Josephine - She seems very personable, likable, good with money, and eager to help the Inquisition succeed. I'm gonna romance me that one.
Leliana - I'm looking forward to seeing how she changed, and the way she acts.
Alistair - I made him joint ruler of Ferelden, so I want to see what he can do with a decade of time on the throne.
Varric - I like Varric, I like his stories.
Dagna - Not a companion, but I know we're seeing her again. She was precious
Sera - She seems like she'll be a lot of fun
Vivienne - I don't like her, but I think she'll end up being evil, or evil-ish, so I'm interested
Anora - Sure, she was a (swear), but she had the ruthless angle down, and from the ending slides, it seems as if she does care about making life better for Ferelden. With Alistair there too, I think she will be tempered a bit.
Blackwall - He seems like a fight for a little guy type person, which I like, but he strikes me as hardline stoic, so it's not a very interesting character
Cole - He seems a little childish, but I have trouble reconciling the "Ghost of White Spire" with him.
Dorian - While the Tevinter part of it does somewhat interest me, his being purely homosexual is getting shipped up too much. Cortez downplayed it, and I liked it. But this guy, it seems to be all what everyone is talking about. Plus, I don't like his mustache.
Iron Bull - While I love Freddie Prinze, I don't like the qunari. I will be sure to take every opportunity to convince him to abandon the Qun, hopefully slaughter all the qunari.

If we're including advisors as well, Cullen...otherwise I'm looking forward to Sera, Cole and Solas...they sound very interesting.

Vivienne - she's just so beautiful and perfect! She's exactly what I want in a LI and a friend and I generally think she's bloody brilliant.
Cullen - been waiting for Cullen for years now. He's definitely one of the most interesting characters in my opinion, and his scar is certainly a big part in my attraction for him. Canon Inquisitor romance for sure.
Josephine - she's adorables and Antivan to boot! If Vivienne is not a LI, Josephine will definitely help heal the hole in my heart.
Sera - once again, she's adorable, and I've had her picked out as my bezzie mate since the survey leak. The only thing worrying me about her is the fear she won't like my Inquisitor.
Cole - I'm very interested in this guy now, which is weird considering I really did not like him throughout Asunder and my first two Inquisitors won't accept his help.
Iron Bull - the fact he's still Qunari makes me giddy, clearly a lot internal struggle here. Only let down by the fact he seems to be another 'shag all the things' bisexual
Cassandra - I'd be a lot more excited for her if I knew I could romance her. But she's still great, and this is still a relatively high spot in my list.
Leliana - she really surprised me in the E3 demo. The personality shift from Origins is really intriguing and I love where her character is going. I also didn't realise how much I loved her until I saw her in the demo.
Solas - now things are looking a lot bleaker. Honestly, the only thing keeping me interested in Solas is the new information that he's apparently Welsh, and I have a MASSIVE thing for Welsh accents. Other than that? Pretty bored by him to be honest.
Dorian - same problem. I'm not really seeing any huge character flaws apart from his idealism, which can still be considered a good thing. I suppose perhaps if he's blindly idealistic, but that would only serve to annoy me further to be honest. Only good thing is his relationship with Vivienne which sounds very much like me and my best friend.
Varric - never cared for him in DA2, don't really care now.
Blackwall - only so low because I think his true interest is all spoiler and hasn't been given away yet. Right now though, he's pretty much a generic paladin-type to me. But I know my opinion of him will no doubt change if Sheryl Chee is writing him.

I'm most excited for:
Solas
Sera
Cullen
Josephine
Solas' interview really made him sound interesting, I've liked Josephines char design since the concept art and I think a diplomacy char is something new and Sera because everyone says how funny she is ![]()
I like Cassandra and Varric but we've known about them for a while so I'm not as excited.
Vivi, Dorian and Cole seem cool but they probably won't be in my first party, because you can only take so many with you ![]()
Blackwall and Iron bull seem a bit meh to me right now... can't really put my finger on why...

Since I don't know the others and don't want to spoil myself much I'm most excited for Varric. I'm glad that one of the DA2 companions will be one again in DA:I and he seems to be the ideal character. It's one of the things I would kind of liked in DA2 to have one of the DA:O companions return. The only characters from DA:O with any real role at all though are Cullen and Bodahn/Sandal.

Varric
Sera
Iron Bull
Black Wall
^The bolded will likely be my travel companions at all times in my first playthrough, with Blackwall replacing Iron Bull sometimes. But I'm open-minded and i'm looking forward to getting to know everyone! They all look pretty interesting, i'm just extra excited to meet these four.
As for advisors, I love them all already!

Sera, Solas, Cole, and Iron Bull. I'm optimistic about Vivienne. I like the idea of Dorian, but that mustache is a choice he makes every day. I might enjoy Varric now that he's more than just your agreeable buddy (he's an anti-communist! yes. he might've won me over if he spent all of DA2's act 3 complaining about the Qunari). Don't really care about the advisors, Blackwall, or Cassandra, but hope I'm pleasantly surprised. Maybe it's because I already liked Leliana well enough in Origins that I'm not as curious and interested in her as I am in Varric now. I still remember when Cullen always became a serial killer in my Origins playthroughs. I know (think?) they're ignoring that now, but still, first impressions are important.

Solas is the only one that stood out from the pack. And of course Morrigan (but she isn't a companion).
