I'm most excited for Vivienne, Solas, Dorian, and Iron Bull.  They all sound like really awesome, interesting characters that I will enjoy getting to know more.

I'm definitely, without a doubt, least interested in Cole.  I didn't really like him Asunder, so I'm not terribly interested in more time with him now.

Vivienne, Dorian, and Solas. Just realized that's all the mages. :P

Patrick Weekes' tweet about Iron Bull somewhat dealing with PTSD and coming to terms with his background also intrigues me.

The companions are always my favorite part of BW games so all of them :D.  But especially Iron Bull, Varric, Dorian, and Sera.

I have to say Cassandra and Cole.  Though I am super into all of them those two are my most anticipated.

In the end it depends on their skill sets and whether it works for my play style.

As of now I'll use Blackwall, Sera, Dorian and I'll be a mage.

Companions:

Vivienne, Dorian, and Iron Bull as my tops. Vivienne intrigued me since her initial reveal, and having always been interested in the 'grand game' and Vivienne's character, I'm extremely excited to see her dialogue and how she interacts with the Inquisition and other companions. Dorian's romance arc interests me (bias I know) and he's by far the best looking of all the (male) companions. Iron Bull because I definitely want to see the Qun from another point of view. I'm dying to see a Qunari that isn't a pasted trope of the Qun (Sten, Arishok, etc...).

Mid-wise, I'd say Sera, Varric, Cassandra and Solas. If Sera is as funny as the devs say, I want her in my party and fast. I've already experienced Varric in DA2 and generally like him (not my favorite but definitely not disliked), so its going to be interesting to see how he progresses. Cassandra, being Inquisition's poster girl, is obviously going to be more fleshed out.

Low-tier would be Blackwall and Cole. Blackwall seems rather generic while I have no interest in Cole's character. That COULD change, and I will give them a fair shake on multiple playthroughs, but they interest me the least.

Advisors:

Most interesting: Josephine. New character obviously and seems to be quite amiable. I've always found some of the non-fighter types to be the most interesting (as I did in the Mass Effect series with the various leaders and crew members).

Leliana I've already experienced in Origins and have a feeling she's going to be quite cold-blooded in Inquisition, which I may or may not like her direction. Cullen doesn't really interest me other than wanting to see his romance arc, simply because I never really thought Cullen was all that (never did understand the obsessive fangasm over him). Inquisition could change that, of course, considering we see more of him and get to know him better.

While they all sound really cool....In no particular order I'm most interested in Vivienne, Cassandra, Sera, Josephine, Leliana (I never did get to know too much about her in DAO, but her role in DA II was intriguing for me and I am really excited to see her character evolve in Inquisition) and the newest surprise for me would be Cole, because I have not yet read Asunder and I am very curious about his character.

Sera, Cole, varric and Cassy

Edit: I wasn't counting advisors but the only one I'm excited for is Leliana.

In order of most to least excited:

1. Blackwall -- I feel we know the least about him, so I'm still hungry for more info. Why is he traveling alone when we meet him? Has he separated from the Wardens or is he just at odds with how they do things? And will my inquisitor be spending his nights wrapped up on those big beefy arms? Okay that last one is more of a personal question.

2. Sera -- Nothing, and I mean NOTHING I've learned about her has disappointed me. I love her look, her style, her voice, her personality, AND she's available to my female inquisitor. Yay! Even knowing all that, I'm STILL curious about her. I want to know more.

3. Iron Bull -- This guy is a contradiction: an adherent of the Qun yet someone who likes to party, laugh, and have a good time? I need to know more, please. Also, potential romance for my male inquisitor, perhaps? Yes, please?

4. Cole -- I've been curious since Asunder, and now even more so. Doesn't hurt that I think he's adorable.

5. Solas -- He sounds really sweet, an introvert and a scholar, and the one person who seems to befriend Cole. His nerdiness reminds me of myself, and I can relate to someone who gets lost in his research, but gets excited about it, too.

6. Dorian -- We're getting to the characters I don't really care for now. It isn't that I dislike Dorian; true, I dislike his look, but as for his personality, I know nothing about it. But am I interested in knowing more about him? Not really. He's from Tevinter, a country I view with narrowed eyes, being a Fenris fan. I guess I probably resent him taking up a romance slot for my inquisitor, too.

7. Vivienne -- Probably because she's been around the longest, I'm the least interested in her. I'm sure she'll be a great character though.

8. Varric -- No interest in him at all; he's only above Cassandra because I'm mildly curious to see how he's changed since DA2 and whether or not the Bianca thing will be settled.

9. Cassandra -- Just not interested in her at all. Don't dislike her! Just not interested.

In short, I like them all, but some I'm more interested in than others.

I'm most interested in Cole and seeing how he develops, but Dorian is also a companion I'm really looking forward to getting to know.

For companions

The Iron Bull

Dorian

Blackwall

Cole

Varric

Solas

Sera

Cassandra

Vivienne

I'm pretty excited for all of them though. Even the ones at the bottom of the list.

Advisers are harder for me, but I'd say

Josephine

Leliana

Cullen

I'm also excited for all of them, but Josephine is new and seems very interesting and has a really cool personality. Plus, I'm excited for the political aspect of the Inquisition.

Not thrilled to see Cole, and probably won't recruit him.

Dorian, Iron Bull & Cass for starters...Dorian because, well yum!, Iron Bull because totally different perspective on Qunari and Cass because she's a bad-ass, but she's also got to feel a little lost if in fact Justinia is lost in the cataclysm, seeing as she's the right hand of the Divine, but isn't part of the Seeker split with the Chantry.

Vivienne, Solas, Sera & Blackwall definitely have their appeal, and I look forward to getting to know them.

Varric, Leiliana & Cullen - hey guys, what's new?

Josephine - well, I'm an accountant, gotta love a character who is armed with her brain and a quill  :D

Cole - stay where I can see you, you creep me out  <_<
