No idea if this will effect my PC copy, but my 360 is limited to 10 slots

So far I have

*female city elf

*female mage elf

*female dwarf commoner

* male noble dwarf

Taken all of them through Awakenings.... still need dalish, and human nobles, but apparently taking a character into Awakenings counts as a slot?

I have a lot of playthroughs in mind, and it sucks I'm literally going to run out of space

Yes, Awakening, Golems of Amgarrak and Witch hunt all use a separate slot.

The limit is 10 on the PS3 version as well. I don't think the PC version has a limit.

Ten characters, 32 saves per character.

Yo @Caradoc2000 is that the limit for PC? I thought PC doesn't have a limit

PC doesn't have any limit - just consoles.

This is one of the reasons the keep is looking better and better.  If I can't or don't want to save a character I don't have to.  Its decisions will show up as if I did.  This is awesome in my book.  I also plan on importing a world state I can't bring myself to play because I really don't want to know what happens if I do some things.

I'm on PC so I don't have this problem, but I still delete saves after I use a character. What you could do, after you finish a game/character, delete the older versions in the slots. So when you're done with DAO, import to Awakenings, delete the Origins version, bring into Golems, delete Awakenings, bring into Witch Hunt, delete Golems. So then you have one character through all of the DLC with all the choices on the final save, that being Witch Hunt.

Of course, ten slots is a problem, but you could end up with: (I put your current characters in bold)

female city elf

female mage elf

female dwarf commoner

male noble dwarf

Human noble

Human Mage

Dalish elf

Of course, that's not all variations possible, but it's all of the origins. Just delete old characters.

Thanks for the tip, I'm very paranoid about deleting saves from DAO but I guess this is the only way you can play through the DLC with multiple characters haha
