I've tried to like PS as a more offensive tool, but I'm not about dodging backwards or turning around. The issues I have off-host also don't make it appealing.
I'd be willing to try it agaIn though.

Hmmm, time to promote the Vanguard class...
This is a shocker!!!!!!!

That's totally different. He only uses PS and not NSB, which is a pretty stupid way to play her if you're trying to be efficient with killing.

Yeah, it is missing Geth Scanner.
Just wait until you pug into someone's lobby you know has a good host. You're beloved Talon works wonders on that build.
I already love the Talon on her (surprise, surprise), and at the risk of pulling a Sinful Force will give it another go.
Oh! **** Geth Scanner. I need my blades.

You really don't though. You have other powers for offense now.. and a gun. If you're going to grenade spam with 7-8 Nightshade Blades there's not really much of a point in speccing into Poison Strike at all. I find I don't need them bc I rarely ever need to fire more than 2 of them into a spawn to achieve the desired result.. and she gets to the ammo crates faster than even the Drell. I have no qualms with popping thermal clips for 3 grenades if I desperately need them (wave 10-11 Cerberus).
Wha? I thought mega beast always chose the short range high damage version for the cabal. I'm sure you made a thread about that a while back and that is the way I have been playing since. The long range jump just left me with my rump in the wind to be shot off too often trying to strike when something is just out of range. I run right up to the opponents and strike through them, then back as quick as I can. It certainly enhances the ability for ps to actually work. I'm not a great cabal by any means and in slight lag games I get beat down but for me it is one of the very funnest classes to play.
The benefit of double strike PS is actually because of it's drawback. The poison is only applied over the first 7ish meters (which is exactly the range of a double strike). This makes the rank 4 range evo useless for expanding it as an offensive power, so double dash seems logical.
my question is what to do at rank 6 biotic focus?
I can do it fine on a good host.. but on even a mediocre host it can be troublesome. Bad host.. forget about it.
I used her recently off-host and it wasn't too bad. The lag didn't seem to affect it too much.
Would this be a build you'd go with? I haven't really tried Double Dash.

*forget the Locust part, I was using that for the SMG Mastery (though headshotting everything is amusing)*

The shield regen option..
that's what I always pick, but the I-frame never works

Really? It seems to for me.
Using Kanye West to speak for you is beneath the MasTeR BoURgeRer..
For shame bro.

That's pretty much it but:
Swap Warp for Incendiary/Disruptor ammo for self detonations.
Speed instead of melee at rank 4 Biotic Focus.
Geth Scanner instead of Grenade Capacity.
Will give it a try. Thanks bro.
in fact I don't think there's a wrong way to spec to power except for skipping it.
Word.

Even if there was no I-frame, it would still be the best choice even if it just let you get rid of pesky DoTs.
The window is really small. I usually just take the damage to the face then pop Focus.. Atlas Rockets are a perfect example. I can't time with window very well.
It is actually really good for laughing off enemy grenades or Geth bomber poop.
