Remember it was sacked by the Darkspawn and most would have to be rebuilt. I do hope to see Bevin and the "The Grey Warden's Rest" tavern in game.
don't know why people say that a lot of witcher fans bash on DAI in the recent video i only saw 2 coments about TW3 being better, 1-2 about DAI being better and one about voices sucking witch makes no sence there are only 3 tipes of voices:
1) annoing
2) normal/ fine both TW and DA voice
3) amazing- voice of god- Morgan Freeman

There were both Witcher and DA fans going at it in the thread. My point is is that there are people on both sides who ruin it for everyone, don't act like group A fanbase is worse then group B, when both have clowns on both sides.
You can really say that about almost any dispute that has ever existed in the history of disputes. The fact that both sides have "clowns" does not mean that one side is not worse than the other. I wouldn't even define it as sides, I like TW as do many on this forum. I don't care about competitions.
You keep going on about "this forum" and how some people complain about The Witcher in "this forum". I already said I don't care about that and I don't care what Witcher fans say about DA in their forums either. I just don't like trolls who try and pick fights by going into articles and video's about other games and trashing them. It's annoying and it most certainly is mostly coming from TW fans (and a few skyrim fans) so I commented on it.
Go look at the comments on the new demo vid and then go look at the comments of a Wild Hunt Demo vid. One Video has a bunch of hater comments from the other games fanbase and the other doesn't. I'll leave you to work out which is which. 
Anyway, it's not a big deal, trolls are just trolls. I just found it irritating so I mentioned it.
The best solution is just to never read the comments.
Hoping for part 2 of the demo today!
It might be good to remember that some haters are out to stir things up between Bioware and TW development. It happened at DA2 release, and is likely to occur again.

Actually, i recall Mike saying during the demo that the village was rebuilt.Redcliffe castle wasn't sacked and still looks completely different with a different layout and blocky towers to boot. It's just another redesign like the new high dragon and elves.

The castle might be a redesign.

My point was that Redcliffe village seems to have been damaged more then it was shown in DAO, and that it was rebuilt.

To the characters inhabiting the world, changes in art are of course meaningless. Basically they attempt to assert that changing the art style is inherently bad, which implies objectivity in the matter. They're free to like or hate particular art styles as they will, but it is categorically impossible to assert that changing it is itself a negative effect.

the one thing I was disappointed in the demo was the mage's apparent lack of any staff melee attack.
