It seems clear to me that in DA:I there are no longer any specific looks to any one piece of armor there is the inquisitor's multiple versions of the armor and then the companions versions. It seems to me that y'all just can't let go of the fact that you have less control over the appearance of companions than you want. Fine, I get it, you want everybody to have same general look to them (which is lame in my opinion). However Bioware (the makers and writers of this game) have decided that they want to give the companions their own specific styles. its not an iconic look (DA2) but its not the completely generic armors either (DA:O) but simply a way so that the companions can have their own styles separate from that of  the Inquisitor. If y'all want a game where everybody has the same freaking armor go and make one and add all the features you think an RPG should have. Bioware can do what Bioware wants to Bioware's game. In the end its Biowares game and you can either not buy it or just learn to live with it. BSN isn't some kind of democratic are where people can decide what Bioware should do with its games. Yeah you can give your feedback but creating these back and forth threads where we start to resort to petty accusations of each other does not make them want to change something in the game. Civility is a virtue.

Summary of my opinion is that its more of an individual style than an iconic look.

So compromise between the bad idea of 'iconic looks'

Whoa there. It's a great idea. And a great many gamers will choose distinct, visually telling companion appearances over bs idea of "realism" in videogames any day of the week.

Honestly, the less inventory management the better. I also wish they would just do away with weight limits. The more i can play the actual game and not waste my time in inventories and selling junk to merchants the better. Having said that, customization is important.
