I don't know much about the Zodiac but I know a little bit about Virgos since I am one.

Those are on top of my head more or less. Not every Virgo is like this and I really don't believe in this kind of thing but I can see Cole definitely fitting this the best.
I don't know all the signs well enough to pin all the characters down to a specific sign, but I can say this.
SOLAS - Air sign. Probably Libra, lover of balance and justice, sees both sides of issue, rules with head not heart.
JOSEPHINE is also a very good candidate for this sign.

BULL - Earth Sign And yes, I think Taurus. He has a philosophy strongly rooted in the pragmatic, practical and here and now. IF HE HAD A MOTTO, IT WOULD BE "IT IS AS IT IS."
Taurus enjoys the sensual world for it's own sake (compare Virgo which has to do something with it). Down to earth, pragmatic, will stubbornly pursue a task to completion without deviation once it has the impetus to get going (which may take a while).
Pitfalls
Taurus has difficulty seeing beyond the end of its nose. Philosophy? The spiritual realm? Forget it! The earth is all there is and I'm going to enjoy it. So limited resources when the earth disappoints.
I'm not sure about the rest.

As an Aquarius I'm mildly insulted by being grouped with Cole.

Hmm... I would say:
Cass - Pisces. She is a romantic at heart and love romance series. Pisces loves to daydream. I think this suits her well. Plus, Pisces has conflicted personalities, as for Cass, she is tough on the outside but soft on the inside.
Cullen - Virgo. Virgo is the perfectionist. They like to be in control and organize things. They are also humble and reliable.
From what I know of Libra, they're meant to be fun, reliable, a good friend, un-biased and a lil' bit promiscuous. I'd say Bull fits this.
Bull's a Taurus- loves food, loves sex, loves drink (basically indulging), likes a plan to stick to, you can count on him to have your back, can be stubborn (ahem must be the dom)
