I'm a 5'1" female, so that makes me a lady dwarf. Good things come in small packages. ![]()

Seeing as I'm a dinosaur and therefore very tall.... I think I'd be a Fereldan Frostback dragon.

5'2" and a half.
The half is important.

I'm 5'5", so i'm definitely an elf. Ironically enough, my Warden was an Elf in Origins. Such is life. ![]()

...I'm a dwarf?

I am man with a height of 1.64 m, which translates to 5'4 1/2'' . That half is important. ![]()
Which means I am an elf. A short elf but an elf nonetheless.
Since I am an academic, that would make me an elven mage. ![]()

Since there are no dwarven mages, all factors considered, I am a male elven mage.
What if you are an academic computer nerd (mage) but are also a gym rat (warrior)?
My class will remain vague ![]()

You know, thinking about it, I'm probably the shortest male to post in this thread. I'm not a real life dwarf though or anything, my proportions are completely typical of the average person. I'm just a normal but very short guy.

Lol ! Me ? Going to gyms ? I run in marathons and other long distance running events. I don't lift.
I can never be a warrior. I am useless at lifting heavy things.
Add that to the fact that I lived most of my childhood in the proximity of tropical forests and, based on personal background, I can't be anything but Dalish.
So mage it is. ![]()

Lets see, male, 175 cm (I'm American but I prefer the Metric system) = elf
Well, elf has always been my favourite in the series.
Seeing as how out of all my friends, I'm the weakest physically but one of the smartest, I'd probably be a mage too. Lucky me

I always thought dwarves would be just slightly shorter than me, though. At least as short as real dwarves- 4'9 or less.

5'2 and male, so I guess I'm a dwarf. Good thing I plan on playing one.

If you want to make it easy, dwarves are in the region of 4', elves are in the region of low 5' to medium 5', humans are in the high 5' to low 6', Qunari are above that.

Human....
You should make one that's determined by personality
I don't think that'd be viable, I feel like you can't base someone's race upon personality traits. That would be stereotyping.
But if you have ideas, do the honors

Based on the cultures branching from those races, why not?
Dwarf: If you're headstrong, like building, and are a drinker
Elf:Like the outdoors, feel overlooked, like tattoos
Etc, just an idea i tossed out

I'm 5'4. So.. a female elf?
Not for my first character. Prolly my second.
5'7 is tall for human female, IMO.
And... shuddup! I'm not too short IRL to be human!

I still feel that's stereotyping. Like I said if you've got ideas then feel free, I'll participate.

I think it's pretty appropriate! Each race is distinguised 4 inches apart, about a whole head. I just don't really know of any females under 4'11" (in real life) that aren't of the following
1) Children
2) Have a growth stunt
If you are one of those (not you specifically Massa) or if you know someone like that, I apologize if I come off as insensitive. These heights are all very general, I'm aware there are some exceptions to everything. Even so, human females are indeed significantly taller than elf females as shown in the Dragon Age games.

By the way guys, I've included the metric height measurements due to some complaints. I'm no expert, I tried to make them as accurate as possible. Hope it's more convenient for you guys now.

Oh... No no.. I'm not offended! Just trying to be funny about my height challenge.
I'm actually planning on playing an elf blood mage so I can experience all the hate that Thedas has for me. I'll be human on my first playthru.
