Well with a October release I'd guess back end of August-early September which is when I'd guess they'll roll out The Keep for everyone

I would say though as a "rule of thumb" if you can play BF4 then you can play DAI since they both use the frostbite engine it would be in the right "ballpark" though it depends on how extensive the modifications to the engine have been.

I'd imagine when the game goes gold or when it's very close to going gold. So, a month or so before release.

I'm wondering this too since the PC specs will dictate what platform I play it on--hopefully the minimum specs aren't anything crazy or super high end so I can actually afford a PC that will meet them.

Official game requirements usually aren't released earlier than a couple weeks before the launch of the game.

That said, people shouldn't fear too much. Remember the game is going to be released for last-gen consoles too, which pretty much means any PC with a dedicated GPU that wasn't among the low-end spectrum within the last five years will run the game.

Not pretty, but run. Just like last-gen consoles.

Since the game runs on the Frostbite 3 engine, a good starting point would be to see if your PC will run Battlefield 4.

Should be coming relatively "soonish" (I know some that have been working specifically on determining it).

And no, I can't give any hints (mostly because I don't really know)

Alan out of interest, is it, for lack of better wording, acceptable to expect system specs that could vary from minimum that is say last gen equivalent to something just over next gen equivalent for pc?

Its a big bracket i know but if the min is on par with 360 i got good chance to play it lol
