I didn't find any recent threads about this, so I might as well start one.

If I'm not mistaken, the possible outcomes are these:

-Paragon Shepard: Aria backs off on her own and chooses to handle Petrovsky to Shepard. She's amused if Shepard threatens him or kills him. Paragon speech.

-Renegade Shepard: Aria tries to choke Petrovsky. She's angry if Shepard stops her, kisses Shepard if allowed to choke the general. Renegade speech.

-Paragade/Renegon: Aria tries to choke Petrowsky. If stopped Whatever Shepard does, she's confused and tells him/her she doesn't understand what kind of person he/she is. EDIT: Paragon or Renegade speech depending on dialogue choice ("You need to reform" vs "I'll leave you to guess").

My main Shepard is paragade and kinda got along with Aria. I overloaded the reactor (second renegade interrupt) and Aria tried to choke Petrovsky. The ending choice was surprisingly hard. Aria had proven useful and reasonably trustworthy to Shepard, souring that alliance didn't seem like a great idea. On the other hand killing Petrovsky was a waste since he would probably give useful intel to the Alliance. I still have a quicksave just before that point :D

Although I never play pure (or nearly) paragon, I think I like the paragon ending more. Easier ending choice and I like Aria's paragon speech better. I chuckled when Aria kissed Shepard in the renegade ending though, I thought they had great chemistry.

So the questions are: what are your favourite endings? What do you do with the general and why?

None of those. I think mine is the one where I let her choke him to death and then she asks me if I was trying to play her. She says I'm hard to read and probably the most stubborn S.O.B. in the galaxy. T'is not the same as the third choice.

Save Petrovsky.  Why? Because he can provide  intelligence that can be useful in fighting the reapers.

Yes, yes! So he can give intel on the Illusive Man! Plus, no one in the galaxy has a smexy goatee. I think that deserves some props!

Aria tries to choke Petrovsky and stops.  My Shepard turns him over to the alliance for the intel.  Aria comments that my Shepard is a bad influence like a disease or something.  Aria never kisses my MaleShep either.    Oh, I also saved the people on the station(mostly following the turian females' advice some of the time if not all of her suggestions).  As a soldier he worked his fingers off at that critical point on Omega. :P

Hmm. I only got this when I stopped her. Did you get the renegade speech?

Tis a hard trade off. I want the kiss, but also want the paragon speech. Also, I like how Aria morph's into a more caring person if you go paragon. But that kiss! :)

Let Aria kill the general, get the kiss.... too bad you can't get that as a paragon. I also like the paragon speech better, even if it's kina silly to think shep can change Aria that much after she's been who she is for so long.

Nope. She didn't say anything about being satisfied on killing Petrovsky herself if that's what you're asking... :S

I agreed. If she's really Aleena from Wrex's story though, she used to be a bit of a softie (Wrex mentioned she didn't want to kill innocents, although they did harm mercs and pirates).

Same

Nope, I meant her speech to the people of Omega. It's slightly different if you go paragon, less about herself and revenge and more about protecting and caring for Omega.

Aria is a thousand years old. If you think one mission with shep would change her then paragons really are naive.

Kiss every time.

This is the Mass Effect Universe we are talking about. ANYTHING is possible. In fact, as far as I can tell, 1 + 1 = 3 in the MEU. (Except when the writers want it to equal -1.)

It would have been more amusing if paragon shep tries to stop her, she just uses stasis on shep and does it anyway.
She then says afterwards "don't **** with aria" and walks off as things explode in the background around her.

That would be proper rule of cool.

I'm a bit torn. I like Aria's paragon ending speech, because it seems to follow nicely with her comment in the skycar on the Citadel, even if the renegade version seems more in line with her ME2 personality. With the exception of the reactor decision, I build a lot of Renegade points in dialogue, so even if I save the people, she will still choke Petrovsky to death. I also like shooting Petrovsky in the face, but the pesky roleplayer in me has to consider that Petrovsky could very well be the only source of valuable information, so I let him live, as much as I want to terminate all active Cerberus operatives on sight.

never been kissed, but have had all the other endings.

my favorite is full paragon. I like to think paraShep had a good influence on Aria's bad attitude and that she's going to do right by her people. (or good if you like her that way)

Shepard can talk Saren into suicide in two minutes

I find influencing her so much unrealistic too, but her paragon speech isn't out of character even for good old ruthless Aria. I find it more uplifting than the renegade one. "We may be bruised, we may be bloodied, but WE ARE OMEGA!"

I agree with it being more uplifting, but I have to say it's also fun to just let Aria be Aria even if it's out-of-character for a paragon shep.

Petrovsky is useless anyway, we don't need his intel because we 86 Cerberus sooner or later anyway.

as far as his "code" goes, it's overshadowed by the monstrosities he's committed against people via the Adjutants. so in my playthroughs he always dies.

Agreed. The first time he told shep she feared success, I thought he was a slimeball. I didn't care what Aria did to him then. I shared Aria's reaction to his surrender, too. Pathetic. He should have died fighting. Hackett would have in a similar spot.
