I didn't find any recent threads about this, so I might as well start one.
If I'm not mistaken, the possible outcomes are these:
-Paragon Shepard: Aria backs off on her own and chooses to handle Petrovsky to Shepard. She's amused if Shepard threatens him or kills him. Paragon speech.
-Renegade Shepard: Aria tries to choke Petrovsky. She's angry if Shepard stops her, kisses Shepard if allowed to choke the general. Renegade speech.
-Paragade/Renegon: Aria tries to choke Petrowsky. If stopped Whatever Shepard does, she's confused and tells him/her she doesn't understand what kind of person he/she is. EDIT: Paragon or Renegade speech depending on dialogue choice ("You need to reform" vs "I'll leave you to guess").
My main Shepard is paragade and kinda got along with Aria. I overloaded the reactor (second renegade interrupt) and Aria tried to choke Petrovsky. The ending choice was surprisingly hard. Aria had proven useful and reasonably trustworthy to Shepard, souring that alliance didn't seem like a great idea. On the other hand killing Petrovsky was a waste since he would probably give useful intel to the Alliance. I still have a quicksave just before that point ![]()
Although I never play pure (or nearly) paragon, I think I like the paragon ending more. Easier ending choice and I like Aria's paragon speech better. I chuckled when Aria kissed Shepard in the renegade ending though, I thought they had great chemistry.
So the questions are: what are your favourite endings? What do you do with the general and why?
