They were all lame.
Well that's like, your opinion, man.

Agreed. The first time he told shep she feared success, I thought he was a slimeball. I didn't care what Aria did to him then. I shared Aria's reaction to his surrender, too. Pathetic. He should have died fighting. Hackett would have in a similar spot.
I hate people like that, hiding behind a so-called code to excuse what they've done. morals are far more important to me than a stupid code. so he thought it was all justified when he was turning people into adjutants, because he honored his word about extending amnesty to those who stopped fighting against him.
and then he cowered with his tail between his legs when he was caught alone. PATHETIC. his word isn't worth a damn, and neither is he. I let Aria have her way with him uninterrupted every single time.

The Adjutants were already on Omega when he got there. He tried to protect civilians and helped Aria fight them in the comics. Then he allowed Cerberus scientists to experiment on them, and of course they screwed up. I'm surprised he let Aria go. If he was half the mastermind people said he was, he should have known she wouldn't let Omega go. He even lied to TIM about her survival.

the comics absolutely suck, I don't even want to acknowledge their existence. ANYWAY, he still gets 86ed every single time. afterwards, I am like this and he is like that.

Not arguing about it, I just can't grasp the reasoning behind some of his choices ![]()
They were all lame.
Care to elaborate on your already in-depth response, Bob?
They were boring. Lame villain. Nonexistent climax. Thematically shallow. Predictable plot.
Just nothing of merit.

The modern episodes are unfortunately not of good quality. Same with the spinoffs.
But Law and Order ten years ago, with Jerry Orbach and Sam Waterson, was and is absolutely brilliant. The closing arguments the writers had to do anew every single week were very often far and away better than any than any I've seen in a movie, where the writers had many months or even years to make a single one. Both fat better acted, and far better written. Absolutely a place BioWare should look into for making persuation dialogue.
Law and Order is a masterful example of how to do 'Grey' settings right. Unlike pretty much every video game developer who has attempted such a thing because they fail to grasp the basic fundamentals.
Have fun and play renegade straight through the DLC. Get the kiss.

And here I thought this thread was about which resolution to the DLC was our favorite, not whether or not we liked it. There's already enough such-and-such-sucks threads in these forums.

Recognizing the DLC's flaws and the predictability of its endings doesn't necessarily stop one from having preferences. But this is Bob
Says the guy with a law and order avatar. Doesn't get more hackneyed and predictable than that.
Objection!

Sustained!
...I spare Petrovsky. It's smarter, even if it is ultimately meaningless. It does mean missing out on the funny kiss, but oh well...
Ironically, I tend to despise Omega, but it did have a semi-decent ending for me to look at:
I do the ending where I've been neutral/contradictory with Aria the entire time, and she's confused about where she and I stand. I save Petrovsky because he's a useful asset (and because my ideal ending would have me uniting Cerberus' Forces under Petrovsky, sending them to Hackett, and giving Aria back Omega; basically negotiating a truce between both parties, while Nyreen stamps and pouts about how dishonorable I was.) Anyway, Aria doesn't understand my Shepard, and he tells her that he likes being an unsolvable riddle, to which Aria says that he is by far the most dangerous being she has ever encountered in her thousand years of life.

Yup. Best way to do Omega. Still my favorite of the DLC outside of all the fanservice that was in Citadel.
I always let Aria decide, but I prefer the renegade ending.
I prefer the paragon path. Seeing her become a better person is nice and put my imagination to going. It wasn't quite enough to get a fan fiction out of me but it was nice.It did make for some fun speculation about what the future of omega might be after the reaper war and Aria firmly into control of the survivors of three major mercenary groups.
Though I can't imagine my paragon catalyst tolerating behavior like piracy. She did have enough renegade in her to probably let leaves like Kasumi be.
I go back and forth between Paragon and mixed. Both with Petrovsky living because he's a favorite. I like the smug Petrovsky of the Paragon ending, but confounding Aria and going for my gun are quite the ego stroke.
