Simple, where are they? She has a bow, shoots arrows, but has no quivers. Is this just another victom of "the game is still in alpha!" excuse or is this an misstep by Bioware?

Awaiting Bioware defense force to be in full effect.....

This was deliberately done, as Sera has the unique Ability to summon Arrows from the Fade. Duh.

As far as I recall, they stated it'll be added, after people asked about the lack of in E3.
Keep in mind that something similar happened in DA2. The demo didn't have Quivers, but the full game had them.
Though I guess tha wait and see it's the better approach.

She pulls arrows out of the invisible backpack that all RPG characters wear. The ones which hold entire suits of armor and small animals but which never impede movement no matter what they're holding.

Given that the game is, in fact, still in alpha, it's a pretty solid excuse.

And it is generaly considered in bad taste to discard any possible criticism the first thing you do...

That is obviously Seras ingame model, so there is no reason to believe that the quivers won't be in the game. Once it is out of alpha, and they can start with QoL improvements rather than anything else.

Quincies don't have actual bows either... They conjure both bow and arrow.*manga geek rectification*

Not all rpgs have those. Just the streamlined ones.

At least it's drawing close to the end. With both Naruto an Bleach approaching their end the holy trinity of shounen won't be much longer. I wonder when One Piece will finally end, stopped watching that show years ago.

Hahah Yeah just an alpha thing. It was funny because the dramatic scene with Leliana defending the quizzy was just so tentionless when i realized she was shooting arrows that magically appeared on her back without a quiver. But yeah, they'll definitely be in the final game :3 if that character kit wasn't proof enouogh.

Maybe they scrapped the quiver for technical reasons? The character pic above might be outdated?

The character reference was posted on June 27th, which is after E3 which is where the videos we've seen are from. If anything is outdated, it's the videos

Did they say quivers will be in the game for sure? It's possible that was just an original concept design from many months ago when they posted the pic in late June. Would explain the shorter hair design for her though.

I don't think they've said anything specific, unfortunately, but since quivers have been in the last 2 games, and Seras character reference is newer than the video, I'm gonna stay rather positive about this one  :)

Yeah, I think we'll get them. Now we just need some scabbards in the next DA game with hair/cloth physics that glide around objects naturally!
