Circle Apostates vs the Dalish?

 

If there are multiple clans, the Dalish would barely win, if just one clan, the apostates would win. If my Inquisitor joins the fray and neither side is (un)just, then I'd probably help out the Dalish just to capture as many apostates as possible to put them back into the Circle or the Aeonar. The Dalish are not threatening the stability of Thedas, open magic warfare is.

 

If I can throw a third option in, like others are saying "both," my third option would be siding with the Avvars. Inquisitor leading the Avvars to victory! Then preach the Chant of Light to them after they gain more power and lands and are more exposed to outsider cultures...

Elves. The mages here (and templars...caught the bit about them killing a man because he had a shovel?) seem to have gone off the deep end.  Rabid animals get put down. I just hope we get to see both mages and templars of the warring factions who have not gone batpoop insane in the game >.<

Neither needs to be protected. Both need to get their asses out of their chairs, forget their internal rivalries and fight. No matter how deserving you are, if you won't fight for it you won't get it.

 Dalish Mage here. My elf is a scholar, circle magic intrigues him as does tevinter magic does. Ultimately he'll choose Dalish first, but he'll probably try to come to a compromise. He's secretly a mage supremacist because he believes magic is given to the favored one's of the creators even shems.Spilling precious magical blood is something he'll hesitate to do.

My character will be a Dalish mage but I love magic far too much to ever oppress mages even slightly. So I guess Elven BBQ is the only other option.

There's a city elf that says this to his fellows as the Inquisitor walks by in the recent demo narrated in the Hinterlands by Mike Laidlaw. In another earlier demo of the same area that same elf said "How can you look into a human's eyes and not see someone who let our people die?"
