I don't see any logical reasoning with this? Why can't we be tall and powerful. I wanted to roll a male Qunari warrior with my 3rd play through and wanted to be a menacing, tyrannical, giant but now it feels like I can't. Can anyone from Bioware explain this too me?

No no, he's not talking about the demo. They confirmed in the Q&A yesterday that heights and body types are fixated, and the Male Qunari Inquisitor is shorter than IB.

Shocking to realize this, I'm sure... But sometimes people of the same race and sex are different heights. It happens. Don't worry, I'll give you a minute to let the shock wear off.

 

Real reason? Because Bioware wanted him to be the biggest party member, and that's that. Just like how they wanted Miranda to have the biggest rack and butt, it's a way of making him stand out. They can do that now that they're not longer needing to keep every member of the same race using the same basic model as each other. Character models can actually be unique now unlike back with DAO and DA2 and ME1.

I can understand being upset that we're not as tall or as muscular but to say it isnt logical just doesnt make sense to me, he's called the iron BULL for a reason, implying he's bigger than the average qunari (along with the horns)

Seriously, compare the Arishok to the other Qunari in DA2. Guy is enormous compared to the others. Some Qunari are just plain larger than everyone else. Of course, I think Iron Bull is even bigger than he was.

That's natural though. People with large body types tend to have small heads proportionally. You ever seen a body builder? Their heads look way too small. So while it's weird looking, it's biologically correct. That's the thing about the body, skull size tends to not really care about the size of everything else.

And you will be. It's not like the qunari are a short race, they are all very tall. Iron Bull is just bigger because he's the "Black Whirlwind" of the group, the insanely huge, battle-loving, fun guy. Playing as a qunari pretty much guarantees that you will be towering over every other race in the game. Watch the demo they released today and you can get an idea of how tall a female qunari PC is to Bull.

Qunari are still big. You're just not as tall as IB, and you'll have a more toned body.

Jus because you aren't the hugest doesn't mean you aren't huge and intimidating. Iron Bull isn't tiny just because dragons are bigger than him.

I'd imagine because a Qunari inquisitor would have to be the average hight and size of a qunari (due to the lack of body size sliders) and Iron Bull is taller than an average qunari.

Technically size is relative. So everyone can actually be small and dragons can be normal sized.

Hey we just know that male qunari is shorter, but we dont know by how much. You have seen the female qunari - shes tall and towers over human men. Male will be even taller. Maybe the height difference wont be significant.

I think the only reason is to make Iron Bull unique and stand out amongst all Qunaris as his name implies.

just be happy in knowing you'll at least be smarter than IB..maybe..how smart can he be? it looks like his skull caved in due to the massive horns..
