They say size isn't everything...
Finally someone steers this thread in the direction it should go. All it needed was a bit of a prod.

I'm guessing Iron Bull is just extremely huge, even among his people. There's no need to fret about not being a big bad qunari warrior or anything... yet.
I'd like my Kossith character to be as tall as any other Qunari. I won't forgive Bioware if he's just the same as every other companion in the group. I don't mind being shorter than the Irony Bull as long as he's not towering over me like he is, when compared to the others.

the fem qunari already towers over humans, theres no way a male qunari wont
Really? She looked just as tall as the others with the exception of Iron Bull. There's also the possibility of the male Kossith character being just as tall or only slightly taller than the female version, happened in DA:O with the other races.
Iron bull will be forbidden to stand next to my inq.
I don't see any logical reasoning with this? Why can't we be tall and powerful. I wanted to roll a male Qunari warrior with my 3rd play through and wanted to be a menacing, tyrannical, giant but now it feels like I can't. Can anyone from Bioware explain this too me?
I'm taller than Bruce Lee was.
To mess with you, obviously.
Shocking to realize this, I'm sure... But sometimes people of the same race and sex are different heights. It happens. Don't worry, I'll give you a minute to let the shock wear off.
Real reason? Because Bioware wanted him to be the biggest party member, and that's that. Just like how they wanted Miranda to have the biggest rack and butt, it's a way of making him stand out. They can do that now that they're not longer needing to keep every member of the same race using the same basic model as each other. Character models can actually be unique now unlike back with DAO and DA2 and ME1.
If they're the same species how can they be different sizes....
DAMN YOU SCIENCE!!! YOU MAKE NO SENSE
Tali's ass > Miranda's.

I am actually quite happy that some companion stand out. I don't want any Robin in my group. You don't always have to be the strongest, tallest , most beautiful , most intelligent , most awesome to be the hero of a story. Power fantasy are so juvenile anyway.
Our Qunari inquisitor has to be smaller so we can ride the bull, duh. ![]()

In the E3 demo when standing beside dorian she is over half a head taller then him.

Her face was. Not the body. The body was just an exaggerated remake of the same poor, postured female body they slapped on all the female characters.
And it was oh-so glorious
OKAY, yeah I agree, Ironbull is basically an above average sized qunari, he's basically the James Vega of dragon age. Funny how bioware's actors generally act the same characters. Prinze on vega and Ironbull, and Raphael Sbarge with Carth Onasi in Kotor and Kaiden Alenko in Mass Effect.
I'm a a human and so it Michael Jordan and yet he is taller than me. What's up with that?
Iron Bull was probably bred to be as big as he is. The Qunari Inquisitor didn't have the benefit of the Qunari's breeding programs given that they were born outside of the Qun.

What about: "Don't worry, the Qunari Inquisitor is bigger where it counts".
Eh? Eh?

If it ain't broke why fix it?

You're funny!

He makes a great sunshade.
Because Bull is a battle axe wielding bloodknight roidosaurus vet from the Bolshevik Horde, of course he would be swole.
Not sure about a oxman born outside of the Qun.
Watch the video at 3:12 mark. She is almost as tall as Bull(I think bull just looks like that because of is build) and a head taller than Sera. I am at peace.
I want to be the biggest.
Me. Maria.
Not some wimpy side-kick I've recruited.
I shall have to kill him as soon as a I can... or maybe just make him move about on his knees all the time. Yes, that will work.
If we ride on his shoulders we will be tallest!
