I'm gonna mix heavy armor and half-robes or something floating in general. Spice things up
I'm wearing this outfit at all times, cause my mage's booty looks gorgeous in it lol.

Yup. We have super cool Rogue, Mage, and Warrior Armor Schematics if you buy Cullen's perks!
YES! Finally! Thanks a lot Rex... ![]()

It was a screenshot I took from a livestream they did a few weeks ago.
"reverse engineering their robes"
2 Sleeves
One sheet with hole cut out in center.
We can do something better... I just know it!
The phrasing of that description in the pic is also really kind of interesting. All these mages came to the Inquisition as refugees, but it does not say whether the Inquisition took them in. Instead, it jumps to talking about reverse engineering their robes... like... did we kill them and take their robes? Probably not, but in a game where we frequently loot dead corpses to take their sick loots, the implicit details left unsaid in that quote make me chuckle.
But I am a weirdo.

Got a Walking Dead-esque vibe reading this
My varric is pretty much worked out (archery, subterfuge and poison abilities, together with traps... lots of traps). But I'm still on the fence about my dorian. One minute I'm making him pure frost,t he other it's frost and fire, then it's fire and storm... argh! I just need to know necromancer specs, dammit!
The abilities I'm definately taking are:
fire wall (used to create a blockage between my ranged fighters and my warrior)
ice wall (used to funnel enemies toward my warrior)
Ice glyph (to setup up CCC's)
lightning cage (to keep enemies in their place)
barrier (fully powered up as much as possible)
The abilities I'm on the fence about:
Fire mine (boom!)
Flashfire (for seting up fear combos burnin' fools)
Dispel (for barrier'd enemies and combo 'splosions)
It'll depend how useful necro abilities are. If they turn out to be fantastic, sure, I'll go deep in that. But otherwise, I might not even touch it. But so far, I haven't seen any specialties' abilities which makes me want them so bad (not that we've seen many).
Necromancy seems to be comboing with Inferno, since that tree also causes fear, and has a fear increase duration passive. If it works with the fear of Necro, that could be quite nice!
But also, in the aesthetics / lore department, you may want to put Necromancy with Winter, so you can have kind of a lich character that uses frost magic and necromancy.
I would personally go for Fire + Necro, but I am thinking on having my Inquisitor full fire, so I dont think I will let any other mage use that tree. I will have to give Dorian frost, Solas electricity, and I dont think I will touch Vivienne in my first playthrough. (I will with my second playthrough of a templar, they will get along)
So is haste moved to where Mark of the Rift is or is a Rift Mage ability?

Unknown, as of now.
Sad, I was hoping it would be in Knight Enchanter since it's going to be my first spec.

Bonjour,
First of all, i'd lke to apologize for my english as i'm not a native english speaker.
Then, sorry if it has been talked before, i'd like to know more about skill trees and skill points.
At 10:42, you can see Vivienne as a 4 level mage but with 5 abilities: Barrier, Energy Barrage, and three Ice abilities (one of them being Ice Mine)
According to this link ( http://imgur.com/a/DzqMh ), to get Ice Mine, you must unlock before Winter Stillness. So it means that to have Vivienne with her abilities configuration like in the video, you should have use 6 Skill points, That's to say, you should be a 6 level mage and not a 4 level mage.
So, I was wondering if some abilities were unlocked from the beginning and also if you had to spend your skill points in a certain order.
In this picture ( http://i.imgur.com/XgKjCPO.jpg ), it seems you can choose your abilities not according to their localisation in the skill trees.
Thx.

If companions/NPCs have racials, Vivienne would have one more talent point (that's the human racial). Sera has 5 talent points spend at level 4, Dwarf!Quizzi has 6 at level 5 and Vivienne having 6 at level 4 makes sense with the racial.
Seems like we are starting with 2 talents points.
In DA:O you got 2 abilities at character creation.
+1 Ability because Vivienne is human?
+3 Abilities because of LVL 4 (+1 for each lvls 2/3/4)?
6 total abilities for Vivienne perhaps.

Would that mean a human inquisitor would start off with three talent points?
No, humans gain their racial bonus point when they reach level 2.
Yes, that seems very likely. We will start with 1 point for free, 1 point per level, 1 additional point if you are human.
Keep in mind also that there will be items in game that give additional skill points, and I have the impression they will be more common than in previous Dragon Ages.
Ah ok.No, humans gain their racial bonus point when they reach level 2.
Thank you for your answers everyone =) !
Have we seen the Vanguard tree yet?

Nope, we know it has some taunts in there but that's about it.
