Nobody has shown a video w/ Immolate's upgrade have they?

I don't think so. I've been looking for it myself today, but no luck.

DA Fan if you're reading this would you be so kind to post a screenshot of the immolate upgrade? You skipped over it in your abilities video.

Winter's Grasp would probably be quickest to interrupt an enemy from attacking you with a strong spell. It instantly freezes an enemy, unless it's immune. Ice Mine will freeze as well.

Flashfire ought to be another quick spell. Panicks most enemies.

Lightning Bolt also provides a quick paralyze, and will also knock down surrounding enemies with the upgrade. Ice mine has too long of a set up to be a quick interrupt I think.

Fingered crossed someone with the EA early access will record it, along with any specializations should they unlock them on either their character or the companions.

So, I just went back and fixed up my original album (I'm Knighthood00 btw) with complete trees. Only missing Immolate from Inferno =\ but everything else is in a single image per tree for easy viewing.

I didn't add in the new specialization talents from the DAMP stream cause there aren't that many. I'll work on it on Tuesday if people show off specializations once the embargo lifts :D

So just wanted to touch on this again since it was missed in the 1h vs 2h discussion. When you see a weapon dmg it's the DPS, not damage per hit. So when a 2H weapon has a higher damage then the 1h weapon, it doesn't matter how fast the 1h is attacking it's DPS (damage per second) is lower. Period. It's an avg dmg per second. Also, for DAI mauls are single target we learned few weeks back.

Mauls do higher dmg then sword/axe 2H weapons, and all the dmg is done to an individual target. So if you wanna play stupid high damage warrior that just crushes the living **** outa a SINGLE enemy like your oversized smashy rogue? Grab the biggest freakin' Maul you can find and crush the livin bajebus outa everyone in your path. Sword/Axes do less DPS then a maul, but can hit in those wider arcs on normal attacks. I'd imagine Whirlwind always hits in 360 though so mauls would probably be whirlwind kings.

They actually also did the same kinda thing with rogue 'daggers' (riiight... 'daggers'). They got 2 kinds, slashing ones that can actually hit multiple targets directly in front of the rogue (like 1H stuff being able to hit 2 targets). Or the more pointy stabby ones that can only hit an individual target. Same distinction of the 2H sword vs maul thing. Stabbers do more DPS but can only hit 1 target, other ones do a little less but can hit 2-3 enemies in your attack chain.

Doing some updates now I finally have the time, how is everyone?

Awesome, Op updated accordingly.

Is there anything anyone wants me to put or link to in the OP?

One of them is apparently named 'Flask of Fire' but that's all we know really.

From the class description of using alchemical fire and frost, we can also assume that a second ability is probably Flask of Frost, or something along those lines. Maybe the third is an electrical flask, but it probably aslo has something to do with alchemy and elemental damage.

Ok, here is my rogue build! I'm scrapping the other build I had in mind.

Tristan Trevelyan

Double Daggers
-Flank Attack + Skirmisher
-Twin Fangs + Ripping Fangs
-Bloodied Prey
-Dance of Death
-Sneak Attack
-Deathblow + Thrill of Victory

Subterfuge
-Stealth + Lost in Shadows
-Easy to Miss
-Evade
-Evasion
-Mercy Killing
-Knockout Powder
-Ambush

Assassin
-Everything else

Mapped: Flank Attack, Stealth, Evade, Deathblow, Twin Fangs, Assassin Active 1, Assassin Active 2, Assassin Focus

Pretty solid looking Rogue build

Close to what I'm aiming for on my Inquisitor in fact only with Poisoned Weapons instead of Ambush although the latter could work well with upgraded Flank Attack from Stealth since it'll sunder their armour and make the follow up attacks hurt more.

Crushing prison was truly an old friend, I will miss it.

Even after being severely neutered in DA:2 it was still one of the best Mage spells you could have. We'll all miss you, Crushing Prison.

I hope some of the reviewers release the Spec information on the 11th. The XB1ers who get EA Access probably won't actually get to the point in the game where they can see the skills, so they are our only hope.

So the Tempest is a grenadier rogue.... ?

Hmmm...Very tempting indeed.

I just want to see the specs so I know whether I'm going Reaver, Champion, or Templar.

So far I'm guessing Reaver but I might change my mind if it doesn't look how I think it will.

I don't know about grenadier. From the DAI website

These unpredictable experts specialize in using alchemical mixtures that wreathe them in frost or flame. Fast, chaotic, and possibly mad, they wade into the fight and dare enemies to face the storm.

This reminds me of Cloak spells from Elder Scrolls Skyrim.

Remember those ? You could cloak yourself in fire or frost or shock which would allow you do to elemental DOT & AOE.

In DAI, it seems we use alchemy to do that. I hope that we also get bonus elemental resistance to whatever elemental cloak we use.

I have a slim hope that there's a cross-class combo that has a similar effect

I see people posting builds so here's mine so far for my mage inquisitor. I can't wait till Nov 11 so that I can see what the rest of the passives are for the KE. With the actives for Spirit, Winter and Knight Enchanter decided I have one more active to spare but I'm unsure if I should go with chain lightning or immolate. I'm leaning towards chain lightning at the moment so I've listed that below.

Spirit

Barrier
Elegant Defense
Guardian Spirit (passive)

Winter

Winter's Grasp
Winter's Chill
Mana Surge (passive)
Fade Step
Frost Step
Winter Stillness (passive)
Wall of Ice
Ice Armor (passive)

Knight Enchanter

Spirit Blade
Fade Cloak
Decloaking Blast
Resurgence
Veiled Riposte (passive)

Storm

Chain Lightning
Arcing Surge

Total abilities = 18
Abilities on hotbar = Elegant Defence, Winter's Chill, Frost Step, Wall of Ice, Spirit Blade, Decloaking Blast, Resurgence, Arcing Surge
