Ok, and in this video we see the name of a new Rift Mage spell, Pull of the Abyss, which seems to be the pull from DA2's Force Mage. At 5 minutes.

At 5.55 we see an active of artificier, elemental mines.

6.03, we confirm veilstrike for SP.

So we have:

Warrior - Templar: Blessed blades, spell purge, wrath of heaven

Warrior - Reaver: Ring of pain, devour, dragon-rage

Warrior - Champion: ?, ?, ?

Rogue - Artificier: Fallback plan, elemental mines, spike trap. (So I guess "throw everything" is the upgrade to elemental mines)

Rogue - Tempest: Flask of fire, ?, ?

Rogue - Assassin: ?, ?, ?

Mage - Knight Enchanter: Spirit blade, Fade cloak, Disruption field

Mage - Rift mage: Stonefist, veilstrike, pull of the abyss

Mage - Necromancer: ?, ?, ?

We are almost there for full knowledge!!

We even know what all those actives do, except for flask of fire, pull of the abyss and elemental mines. (Although we can imagine)

We need a review with Blackwall, Dorian, Cole and Sera!

Cassandra wearing the Venatori Slave warrior helmet haha

Have you guys seen this Knight Enchanter doing MASSIVE damage to dragon?

Spoiler

Damn that was HOT. Really excited to play KE now..

You have to take difficulty into account.

You have to take difficulty into account.

AND it was to guard. Knight Enchanters we already know have a lot of bonus to guard. An INSANE amount if Spirit Blade is upgraded.

winter + spirit + knight enchanter seems pretty insane

loads of barriers, constant freeze and basically shatter whenever we wish through spirit blade

So looking at it. The last passive;s icon for the Reaver class really does look like Massacre.

5000% bonus damage when attacking a single target!

But no, actually we don't :(

My Firequisitress would like to know too. Burn baby burn!

I guess it will be a % damage increase, or a longer burn duration... Inflicting fear would be too good, unless it is for a very brief duration.

Or a guard bonus! Or a barrier bonus!

I am very happy energy barrage takes your staff element, so I can be stupidly focused on fire and go:

- Energy Barrage

- Immolate

- Flashfire

- Wall of Fire

- Fire mine

- Focus

- Barrier?

- Specialization... I guess...

You know, I dunno why it didn't occur to me till just now. But that whole 50% DR bonus from the passive in winter when near a sustained wintery effect (such as blizzard or a frozen enemy)... if Barrier doesn't benefit from armor or any of that stuff, does it benefit from that 50% DR? I know everyone just immediately assumed that was the way to tank as a mage. But if Barrier doesn't benefit from ANY resist or armor what so ever, and KE allows you to basically gain barrier per spirit blade use... winter doesn't seem so important anymore for a melee mage.

I think if I make a melee mage I'm gonna end up with heavy Spirit and KE with a good bit on lightning. It has some nice dmg passives such as 100% dmg to attackers while casting (like when using spirit blade) or every 15 seconds lightning strikes a random enemy. Add to that the .5 second CD reduction per 'cast' (again, spirit blade) just seems like a nice fit.

@Dragkosias : different icon, I could see it being something similar though but they're not the same icons. DAI its a skull, massacre was a skull being split. Honestly, the icon is a red version of walking bombs icon. So... I dunno what that would mean, but I doubt the icon matchs anything in past games.

Gathering Storm passive is .5 second CD reduction per basic attack, not spell cast.  Spirit Blade is a spell cast.  You're thinking of Clean Burn passive in Inferno, which is 1 second CD reduction per spell cast.

If you're talking about fade shield it doesn't actually say you gain barrier each time you damage an enemy, just the that the damage received to your barrier is reduced (30%). Also you don't specifically have to use spirit blade, any offensive spell or just basic attack will do.

Burn baby burn!

Inferno+Spirit+KE: Enhanced Barrier + Chaotic focus + Clean Burn + Spirit blade + Guard = 5k damage!

Oohh right... per basic. That's in fire that has the 1 CD per cast, and the 100% no CD after a crit. Man fire has some good passives. Hell they all have good passives. I'd definitely have to dip into some fire for that. I've been having a hard time deciding what char of mine will be what class (I got a short list of names). Part of me is thinking of turning my necro guy into a KE-Druidic like setup. Lightning/Fire, take fire wall, get the CD reductions. Get some of that lightning stuff, chain, cage, all the passives.

Yeah I might do that, was gonna have one of my lady playthroughs, Viconia (after Baldur's Gate Viconia) be a KE but I think necromancer fits that better honestly. Armor they ware isn't really related to specialization. You know, maybe I'll turn my archer into the druid since that name (Adhin) I usually use for druids. And Eilavian my necro can get turned into an archer instead with Tempest specialization for some elemental flare.

-edit-

@Silent Rogue: Ahh no, Fade Shield, 30% of damage delt is added to your barrier. I think you might need barrier active at the time for it, but maybe not. Either way it's basically life leech but adds to barrier and a considerable amount of your dmg is added back into it. The other passive reduces Barrier decay by 35%. It doesn't take 35% less damage, it 'decays' 35% slower, it's self damage if you will is reduced and that's a party wide thing. That is to say any barriers that KE cast decay slower not all barriers cast by anyone. :P

What do people think of those two purple Necro abilities on the hotbar in the first few minutes of the IGN video?  One of them is the same Hand symbol that Blood Magic used...?  What active ability would that be?

Not sure if someones mentioned this yet but looking at recent video posted in this thread (softpedia) and I noticed all the CD base on skills where lower then normal with decimals, such as 20.4 second CD. Me thinks there be CD reduction via armor or maybe some other universal passive. Or maybe we already know that and the passive doing it escapes me. Either way thought it was interesting.

As for the hand symbol for necro... no idea. That 'hand' symbol is used in a balls ton of mage spell icons. Almost every specialization used it lol.

That's a different hand symbol.  This hand symbol is very distinctly for Blood Magic:

Well, I can promise you it's not blood magic. Was it an active or a passive in the video? I apparently missed it and I haven't seen anyone SS it yet. It might be some kinda self heal via corpses? You know, dead stuff around you heals you, or replenishes your mana or something. If it's an active, if it had any extra boarder stuff can give some insight to the kind of skill it is. I'll try to find the IGN video see if I can spot it.

I've seen a ring in a live stream that reduced cooldown of an active ability. Rings only improve skills this time around.

I can't do screenshots because I'm technologically impaired.  But it's purple, one of the active skills on the main character's hotbar in between the 1-2 minute mark on the IGN review impressions video.  It's purple and it's next to another necromancer purple ability.  And yeah, based on everything we know it's not Blood Magic.  It's just really weird they'd use the same symbol.  Maybe it is something like Death Siphon.

Yeah im looking at it now, first thing I noticed, and this was a big ol' pet peeve of mine in older footage. The 3 hit combo Reaver skill (last one in the tree) actually stores your weapon while you do it. It looked SUPER awkward the way they had it before with your weapons kinda floating in your hands while you did this big magical claw attacks LOL.

Anyway with the 2 necro skill icons I see I'm not noticing any special indicators so they're both general activation spells (unless, of course, they just 'forgot' the graphics on the icon). Also this guy 'beat the game' and, even after that, apparently only bound 7 skills. Pardon my french but what the flying **** kind of herpin' derps is that.

-edit-

Yeah could be death syphon, could be walking bomb too. They've shuffled around plenty of icons at this point. We've seen a few like skills that don't have there old icons. Could be an entropy inspired spell too. I'd imagine that skeleton ghosty looking one with the circle is the summon, kinda bummed it doesn't show it being a toggle. Which probably means it has a set duration and I'd imagine a CD that surpasses that duration.

Soo I am starting to think the 'summon' is an alternate take on walking bomb. We know walking bomb is still there but one thing I've noticed with the IGN footage was the monster IB was about to kill would often get extremely blue... then on it's death it was just insta-replaced with the ghost version of the monster it just killed. I think that's the summon we've been seeing.

I'm currently going off the assumption that ghosty with a circle icon function a lot like Walking Bomb, except instead of exploding it creates a ghostly image of the monster you killed that'll help you fight for a certain amount of time. Just a guess but that's kinda what 'seems' like is happening. That could also be a passive for all I know lol.
