Yeah those terror demons, F those guys... srsly. It's the main reason I immediately decided my 8th skill had to be combat roll. Just so I could remove the slow and dodge-roll out of there stupid slow scream aura BS.

Cassandra's powers are unique to Seekers, and she explains how she gets her powers during her personal companion arc. We use the Templar Order version, via lyrium, though I'm not entirely sure if we become addicted.
Welp, I was excited about the Templar spec but the fact that you use the Lyrium method to get it just turned me off from it. My Inquisitor isn't taking addictive drugs. Guess I'll stick to Champion after all.

Wait, so both the Fire Mine & Ice Mine can freeze multiple enemies ?
If that is true, I am revising my build to include them. They are too useful to NOT have.

Question, how long does Ice Mine take to prime usually?
I wonder if you could possibly see the green light where they jump from and cast the glyph onto there.

Just great so basically warriors have no decent specializations. From 1 i lost spirit warrior, from 2 i lost berserker. Now my option is a drug addict shitty templar or a shitty reaver.

.....uh. I highly, highly disagree. They all look pretty damn good to me. But to each their own, I guess.

They are all good for Normal mode.
Reaver does seem pretty shitty for Nightmare. 2H warrior is already probably the riskiest build in nightmare (yes even compared to DaggerRogues
who have 100% aggro dump abilitiy/passives), and that is without Reaver and low HP gambling.
Templar and Champion however, I wouldn't one a Nightmare party without at least one of those.
Or are you talking about lore?

So templar, blessed blades the damage increase only demons? or it does higher damage against demons. Finally can two same buffs stacks. IF i have two templars will my elemental DR increase to 20%?

Dude, now I know why fade step's upgrade is about dealing damage and not cooldown reduction. I'd be nyoom!pop-ing all over Thedas if I half a chance. I'd never walk again.
I think at this point I'll sooner know the mysterious of the Templar spec by actually playing than expecting anyone already there to, well, put down the game and tell us. I understand completely. Although, hearing that dispel undoes negative status effects as well as good ones sure puts a downer on things if spell purge works the same way. Unless that was never confirmed, in which case... nevermind?

Yup my question too, If an abilities tool tip was clear then i know what the ability does. Wrath of heaven is simple stun for everything and damage only against demons, a clear tooltip. While others not so much.
Oh well might just play a non specialized 2h warrior.

But thanks, I appreciate it ![]()
In less than 24 hours it's finally my turn to play! Dear god... Give me strength!
EDIT: and a question...
Has anyone used earthshaking strike? Is it any good? Because hearing about the rather limited use of block&slash, I might be interested in earthshaking strike instead, but only if it like, has a knockdown effect or something like that.
Does it have any tactical value?
Prima guide guys?

Wont help you at all Pillar. Anything you can't use Block and Slash against, you also can't knock down for the most part. I'm just taking roll (for a multitude of reasons) to avoid those situations as is. One thing that is a little... aggrivating is knock down is very, very much as knock back. Which, anyone who loves being melee knows is the most hated effect EVER for melee characters.
It's not 'that' bad, really, but it screws up your lines rather quickly, or can if your not careful. For instance, say the enemy is between you and your party. It's a common MMO tactic, tank the thing that does the dmg facing away so they don't accidently get hit by anything major. Well, if you can knock that target down with counter attack, all of a sudden your THROWING the enemy at your own party. This is a problem, and you might be like 'hey just tank between them, that's most common for these kinds of games'. Right! I agree except in so far as most enemies have an ability to also knock you down/away lol. Which then moves you closer to your back companions and, again, moving the fight closer together.
Then you get terror demons who say screw anything your trying to do im gonna just teleport knock down everyone, rapidly in chain attacks becuase am a giant dick. Dispel on fade rifts is amazing. AMAZING. Being able to completely remove 1-2 spawn points on a 2nd wave is... it's amazing. I can't wait for Cassandra to get Templary so I can spell purge while I dispel and knock out 2-4 spawn points at once.
Earlier today I was taking on a rift, saw 5 points. I could dispel 2 of them in multiple areas, threw the dice and gambled on the back 2. The 3 I didn't dispel? All Terror Demons. 3, just shat them selves outa the ground and I was like 'well balls, I chose wrong'. LOL. If Cass had spell purge it woulda been a single Terror Demon.... ahh the higher levels, how i wish to be there.

Rogue:
Warrior:
Mage:
For the new people who might be looking for the entire skill tree's.
HUGE thumbs up.
And holy crap..., it doesn't seem a Champion can be killed at all if built properly. I wonder if Siege-Breaker applies to just Walking Fortress or other abilities. Also does anyone know if "Flow of Battle" effects Specialization abilities? All that cooldown reduction on immortality/guard abilities, nuts.
Also, Tempest...oh man. With proper rotation of the 3 flasks I do not see ANY THING even coming close to this damage.

Finally reaver now looks appealing, templar not so much. Ring of pain and devour+dragon rage combo supported nicely with passives from battlemaster. Probably will get cassandra for the templar stuff/ tanking
One question horn of valor boosts only allies damage? or does it also apply to us?

Adhin so what skills would you say are worthwhile in the 2 handed tree? Also horn of valour in battlemaster, does it apply to only allies? or does it apply to you and your party.
