How much respecing costs after the first amulet? Is it worth to respec immediately after you get the change or is it better to wait until you have more gold?

Cassandra's powers are unique to Seekers, and she explains how she gets her powers during her personal companion arc. We use the Templar Order version, via lyrium, though I'm not entirely sure if we become addicted.
Is there a reason we can't use the lyrium addiction free Seeker method to get Templar powers? A yes or no answer would suffice.

Here is my Dual Weapon Tempest & Dual Weapon Artificer Build. After much thought, I decided to go with Rogues as my go-through class in DA:I. I find it difficult to build and specialize mages the way I wanted to.
Tempest Build
Tempest – 10 (Flask of Fire+, Flask of Lightning+, Flask of Frost, Thousand Cuts, Flaskmaster, Fury of the Storm, Ride of the Storm, Killer's Alchemy)
Double Daggers – 8 (Flank Attack+, Twin Fangs+, Bloodied Prey, Unforgiving Chain, Dance of Death, Sneak Attack)
Sabotage – 8 (Poisoned Weapons+, Hook & Tackle+, Fighting Dirty, Explosive Toxin, Looked Like It Hurt, Cheap Shot)
Subterfuge – 4 (Stealth+, Easy to Miss, Evasion)
Skills – Flask of Fire, Flask of Lightning, Flask of Frost, Stealth, Hook & Tackle, Poisoned Weapons, Flank Attack, Twin Fangs. *Thousand Cuts for hard boss fights*
Artificer Build
Artificer – 11 (Spike Trap+, Elemental Mines+, Fallback Plan+, Hail of Arrows, Set Them Up, Opportunity Knocks, And Take Them Down, Tricks of the Trade.)
Double Daggers – 8 (Flank Attack+, Twin Fangs+, Bloodied Prey, Unforgiving Chain, Dance of Death, Sneak Attack)
Sabotage – 6 (Caltrops+, Throwing Blades+, Looked Like It Hurt, Cheap Shot).
Subterfuge – 4 (Stealth+, Easy to Miss, Evasion)
Skills – Spike Trap, Elemental Mines, Fallback Plan, Stealth, Flank Attack, Twin Fangs, Caltrops, Throwing Blades. *Hail of Arrows for tough boss fights*
+ represents upgrades.
What do you folks think ? Solid ? Could use improvements ?

Once you learn the steps that a Seekers goes through you will understand...and probably not want to do it that way.

I don't mind the use of lyrium to become a Templar. I just don't want the game to make us addicted to lyrium. so, I'm hoping that mechanic is ignored in the game.

I'm pretty sure the Templars are given more Lyrium than they actually need to use their abilities so that they become addicted.

Now personally, I'm somewhat of the opposite. IMO, if you don't run the risk of getting addicted to lyrium when using it, Templar simply shouldn't be in the game. Either do it properly or don't do it at all. If you want to be a Templar, you face the consequences of being one.

Quantity does't have much to do with the addiction. Lyrium is addictive, it's like a drug, but you can go in "detox", the side effect is losing your power.

Heyo.
I haven't gotten my game yet (since EU) and I'm dying to know more things about the way barrier works (no story spoilers though please).
I read in this thread that a full bar of Guard (completely covering your HP bar) is equal to 25% of your max HP. Meaning if you have 1000 HP and a full bar of guard, that bar of guard is worth 250 HP.
Question 1: Do we know how much a full bar of Barrier represents? (the bar over your HP, not the skill)
Question 2: Is this bar based on max HP, does it scale with lvl, is it a fixed amount throughout the game?
Question 3: How does the mage Spirit-tree passive Strength of Spirits work with this amount?
Let's take for example a full bar of barrier being worth 1000 barrier (1000 effective HP without mitigation).
Now let's assume our current Barrier skill (the active ability) also gives us 1000 barrier (completely filling the bar to full). Does Strength of Spirits raise BOTH the full-bar cap to 1500 and the Barrier provided by the skill to 1500?
Question 4: How does this all tie in to the Knight Enchanter passive Fade Shield? Does Strength of Spirits enhance the barrier-generation done by Fade Shield?
Question 5: Lastly, how does the Transmute Magic upgrade for Dispel work with Strength of Spirits? Do they stack additively, multiplicatively etc?
Any information is appreciated.

it seems like, though, if lyrium addiction was a mechanic in the game, we've had heard about it by now.

Why would you waste a point in Hail of Arrows if you're going with DDs?

so, we start out with 2 skills at the beginning of the game. when do we get a chance to respec and choose the skills we want?
and, for humans, does that mean we get 3 skill points instead of 2 when we first respec ( since humans are supposed to have an additional point )?

As a human, you start with two abilities, and on your next level up you get two ability points.

Everyone start with 2 abilities based on class selection. Human get an extra skill at level 2. Respect amulet is in the Blacksmith/crafting store once you are done with the prologue.

So I saw spoilers on the Mage/Templar conflict and I'm interested in what you do to get the Templar spec considering what can happen.
And after reading the spoilers, I changed my mind and I'm sticking to Templar.
