I like what I saw today. I said this reminded me of the Castles from Suikoden. My favorite was the Suikoden 2 Castle. Found a good video that give a tour of Suikoden 2 Castle.

I think she's done barding. She's into spying on people and cracking their necks like walnuts with her thighs, now.

See i loved the castle, just when they had the inquisitor on that balcony i wish they had put just random soldiers walking the wall, because as far as i could see there wasn't even one archer on that wall, Even if it was a barely generated just cardboard model would have been cool to me, it just kinda broke my immersion during the Demo. 

Also i know that seems like a very negative post but i really don't feel negative about skyhold, in fact i love it and i can't wait to see it.

We saw soldiers there, but IIRC he said that it was somewhat near the begining of the game, due to the construction there. Might be that we see more guards later. or the inquistor was running around when the guards were all off-duty

Oh i know it was early i just hope that's the reason. we did see a few soldiers, i just hope we can see our soldiers actually on duty... Ya know... Like soldiers are supposed to be. 

 

But yeah, i want to feel like i actually have a military so i hope they show it at our forts or skyhold, troops standing guard at random spots. archers patrolling the wall, or just standing in the turrets.

I wish I could wear my armor in Skyhold. The casual wear was fine in DA2 because you were at your house with no one but your servants and family. The Skyhold is my fortress, my seat of power, and I have business to attend too and followers to impress. It'd be like the President wandering around the Capitol in pajamas. I don't like that every day is Casual Friday for the Inquisitor.

I was hoping that top balcony would be our quarters and I am so pleased that it is.....my mind also has to wonder if, since we know Cullen sings a song in the game, if perhaps there may be a little serenade at some point....wink wink nudge nudge....?

I want to have moments where the Inquisitor goes into his or her rooms and just randomly finds a companion hanging out there doing weird and unusual things.

Do we know how we get Skyhold or do we just have to keep going through the main story to get to that point? I'm guessing that's what happens.

I'd like to get Skyhold as soon as possible but I also wanna get all the companions before that point.

Haven is destroyed.  The who is an even bigger spoiler and that isn't what you asked.  Once Haven is destroyed you move to Skyhold and all its customization goodness  

 

Hope this helps.  According to some reviewers you get it about 10-15 hours in.  Kind of depends how long you spend exploring the different areas
