I recently discovered the N7 Destroyer + Striker, Missile build.

I like using Cryo ammo on it because it slows things like Brutes, so you can time the toggle off Devastator Mode and quickly dodge the attack. Then shoot at the Brute until the clip is almost gone, take cover, activate Devastator Mode and move out of cover canceling Devastator Modes animation and instantly reloading your gun.

I've always thought the N7 Destroyer was boring until now!

I skip his Grenades because I don't like them, and I make use of his Hydra Missiles instead.

So what build have you recently discovered, that was really fun to play? :3

I've been putting the saber on everything these days, and it's HFE off late.

It's not exactly a recent discovery but I've been having a lot of fun with it.

I only recently started trying shotguns on the TSol. Never did it before because it just felt wrong for Garrus to be using a shotty, but...too fun. I know...slowpoke.jpg

 

And the Barrier detonation KroDept. Being able to punch on-host phantoms with impunity...fantastic in and of itself. My krogan chuckling as I do it...priceless.

I am really starting to enjoy no-fitness builds at the moment (Demolisher or GE for example). I always maxed out fitness in the past, if the character did not have an ability to regen shield immediately, but as long as I don't have really bad teammates, surviving isn't really hard for me now.

Its not really a build I "discovered", since its pretty common, but I had never used the GPS on the GI very much, and I've been having alot of fun playing an OG Geth Hunter lately. Makes a nice change-up from the usual Talon/Hurricane/Javelin/Claymore setup for the GI.

Heads exploding with that is always fun!

 

Me, I like the N7 shadow with the melee build (I don't use the eletric wave, useless on higher levels from my experience), and flaming sword for armor. Other than Atlases, EVERYTHING gets cut! And if that doesn't end up killing them, a quick claymore to the face is always satisfying. Centurians and the Turret a-holes? Yeah, if I don't chop their heads off, I blow their faces off. Phantoms? HA! I one-shot THEM. Scions? Too slow to hit me! Ravagers? 1 cloaked assissination (acid can be annoying). Brutes? Please. Dragoons? Whatever! Pyros? Hunters? Primes!? See Scions and Ravagers.

 

Atlases, yeah, the shadow strike doesn't work on them. But, CLAYMORE!

Never really played drell until recently, mostly due to a fear of taking squishy classes into gold.  Drell adept with Wraith is especially good fun.

This. If you run that setup without equipment I'd be surprised if you can make it into a game off host.

 

To answer the question, I've been running the vanilla humans recently just for nostalgia. The Adas Human Engineer and Lancer Human Sentinel specifically. Quite, quite fun.

How often do you get kicked with that set up?

Who? Me? Or Geth with Crusader? I have yet to be kicked with the setup I use. Hell, half the time I just run around with the Claymore and shoot things in the face, sometimes cloaking, but usually just running around shooting. Only using the shadow strike on bosses, sub-bosses, and things like phantoms and dragoons (and turrets). Otherwise, I just shoot their faces.

I've been on a Locust kick lately with my QFE.  I use Disruptor ammo on it for constant tech bursting with Incinerate.  It's been working well so far.  I've also been having fun using the Tempest with Incendiary ammo on my GE.

Thanks to Beerfish, I've discovered how great the GE is with the geth pulse rifle plus incendiary ammo. Fire splosions everywhere!

- Batsent "shield regen" build (full fitness, 5a of Blade Armor, Shields Power Cell 3, Stronghold Package). Very hard to kill if mobile enough.

 

- Volus engineer with Wraith. This gun works on every kits, but I like the idea to use a shotgun on a squishy volus.

 

- Geth engineer with Executioner, because Overload + Executioner shot = a dead mook. And because the Executioner looks and sounds cool.

 

- TGI with Typhoon, because the Harrier is boring and it's more challenging to get headshots with the Typhoon.

 

- Turian sentinel with Tempest. Effective enough in gold.

 

- Drell adept with Venom and adrenaline module 3. The spawns killer !
