Venom justicar. No pull, offensive bubble and incendiary ammo. Prime a spawn with a venom shot and close the distance while they're staggered. Deploy bubble to detonate the fire explosion and prime for biotic follow up with reave.
That sounds like a lot of fun. I will try this the next time I play!
Anything with arc grenades. You'd think one wouldn't need 1500 hours of play to stumble on that remarkable discovery, but there we go. I remember playing the male quarian engineer when I was just starting, he was one of the first non-human kits I unlocked, but at the time I had no clue about anything (and likely no grenade capacity gear either). Anyway, I played QMI and QME today and was amazed at how awesome they are, even with all the running around the maps from one ammo crate to another. Totally OP, but so much fun. Delicious!
Using the Revenant as Rambo instead of "cc'ing a whole spawn" or whatever it was.
At long last I have settled on my top 5: (instead of just a top 3)
Character :: Primary Weapon ///>
1> Krogan Soldier Acolyte
2> Justicar Acolyte
3> Drellfiltrator Venom
4> Paladin Venom
5> Gethengineer Hurricane
60 fps Platinum -
All characters can charge groups of Phantoms and prevail
. With cover, judicious movement, and power use of course.
The Krogan, Drellfiltrator, and Paladin put their hands on them.
Muahahaha
As opposed to the Harrier, Reegar, Particle Rifle all the time? ![]()
No interest here for sniping. Weapons are effectively nerfed for Platinum. Power combos (and "binary" powers) scale with difficulty; weapons do not. It is up to Bioware for not making Claymore, Graal, etc better
The great thing about chargeup weapons is that the mechanic allows firing on the move; characters can advance on enemy positions and insert directly into their fortifications to disturb with great effect. Especially thrilling as a melee grenadier; which, console players, regrettably to add, have much less of an ability to perform and have a much less intense experience
This on Platinum. 60 fps, bitches!
You use an Acolyte on a Krogan.
No headbutts for jhoo.
Just because of his gun selection?
If boiled down to only primary weapons, my list would be Acolyte, Acolyte, Acolyte, Arc Pistol, Arc Pistol because in terms of fun, powers>>>>>guns.
powers>>>>>guns.
Wrong. Build in sig.

The game should freeze when someone use a stripper-designed weapon on a character with a double pairs of balls.
Fancy omni blade handle begs to differ. Does make intimidating sounds and leaves something that looks like a badass pellet pattern. Melee is all about psychological warfare.
Wrong. Build in sig.
...a TGI with a Harrier? How innovative!
You have shown me the error in my ways. This opens up so many possibilities. Do you think using a Reegar with an AIU would work?

Don't be silly. Why would it? The GI+Claymore is the next best thing. Check the sig.
There's only one gun I'm using on the AIU, and it ain't that gun...maybe, I need to put that build in my sig....a TGI with a Harrier? How innovative!

Infiltrators are obv easy damage. Lol I remember complaining about them then and when I came back. In fact, I used to play a GI before I quit. Them and biotics were out of control at release. Thankfully, Bioware made other classes viable

He just love his gold brigade circle jerk. I remember him critiquing Platinum builds without any thought whatsoever, lmao
EDIT: It was that other guy

Well you need to accumulate OVER 9000! victories with it first....

I won't argue with your own choices as that's up to you. But both the Claymore and the Graal are fine for platinum- if they claymore in particular had been buffed at all it would be obscene.

Yes, they are "fine". But woe betide you if you try to do any substantial contribution to the team. Just compare with a real weapon class.
Acolyte melee grenades massacres everything far faster than with any other weapons on the krogan soldier. And for a true krogan up in the enemy's face meleeing everything the Acolyte is the greatest enabler on Platinum. Play to the characters' strengths
Should think a little more. What, does the GI have, that the krogan does not? (The krogan has four balls that the GI does not but that's the other way around) ![]()
Anyway, don't know why we're on here writing essays, too sleepy for that nonsense. It's time for ME3
