Yes, they are "fine". But woe betide you if you try to do any substantial contribution to the team. Just compare with a real weapon class.
By fine, I mean they don't need a buff. If you haven't seen someone take a claymore to platinum and make a substantial contribution then you haven't seen anyone use it properly. If you struggle with it, practice headshots and reload cancelling on a lower difficulty until you've got the hang of it, then try again.
Admittedly I wasn't talking specifically about the Krogan soldier, as I tend to use the raider more frequently on him than the claymore.

I won't argue with your own choices as that's up to you. But both the Claymore and the Graal are fine for platinum- if they claymore in particular had been buffed at all it would be obscene.
Biovar claymoar buff nao pls.

Kishock huntress. Certainly not as optimized as Claymor/Raider huntress, but it's ever so much fun watching the enemies suffer under the effect of three DOTs.
I always loved that combination, even if I love Claymoar moar. ![]()

Well you need to accumulate OVER 9000! victories with it first....

Well, I have about 9002 moral victories with this kit. Does that count? And can I use my Bronze victories over all those lowly Pugs? If so, then I'm over 9000!!

Btw if you want to roleplay krogan on Platinum then Striker and Graal are decent options on the Soldier, and better than the Claymore
For great non Acolyte performance, Crusader is great on the Sentinel. But will be pseudo-sniping all day

I quite enjoy running around hammering things with my Krogan warlord sentinel. Not being able to take cover, or dodge, is a bit of a pain, but the sheer speed of the characters regeneration not to mention just how devastating that biotic hammer is makes up for it.

I still think that Krogan should've had access to a (buffed) Krogan-version of the Claymoar if nothing else.

64466 build.
Pure shields and damage reduction makes him almost indestructible in rage - loads of melee

So I haven't tried it yet, but I just had an idea. Haven't played TGI in a very long time because I don't find it to be a very fun kit, but it seems to me this could be a game-changer (Venom+Flying Face-Punch+Lotsa FE's? Yes, please). Will report back.

Ok, did a quick Cerbie/Glacier/Gold with this, and it was ridiculously fun (most fun I can remember having as TGI). And effective. Will bang.

I've played lately QFI with Crusader. That's pretty devastating combo against Geth.
It's actually just as good against other factions, too.
I prefer her against Reapers. Dat spawn nuking.
