I never understand the lack of love for the Adas, its stun-locking alone makes for happy shootings.
Can you suggest a weapon-oriented ADAS build for me? It is only when I got Geth that ADAS started to shine. I've tried using it several times before on different characters, and it was always pretty bad - not to mention I was playing silver then! Now I'm focusing on Gold.
Old School....This never gets Old....Justicar/ Disciple.....reave Shoot...bosses..Reave/shoot/Bubble....Ka-Boom..Just feels soooo right....Prob because that mission in Sp on Thessia...you see all those Asari with Disciples
Sounds intriguing, but what do I have to give up for it? I have nothing to give away but damage or survivability, and I kinda like both...
You can go 46664 or 66644 or 66653 with the Vorcha, but he gets next to no shields anyway so I normally put the fitness points into melee if I go to rank 4. Or you can go low in Bloodlust, 36665, which works OK on the Soldier.

It makes no difference. You're living on shieldgate most of the time, healthgate the rest. It's a security blanket, not a ballistic vest 
Loving the Batarian soldier. He is currently my favourite messenger boy for bringing bad news to Reapers and friends. Though for a few passes I was a bit mystified. I kept dying and running for my life. I could not figure out why my fortunes had changed. Turns out I was in the middle of recalibrating his level ups, and had to bail out to another character before a match started. I still hadn't assigned all his points but had forgotten. I had been using him without allocating any of the passives. He was at 850/850, a human soldier with no dodge roll or combat skill. So now I am happily slashing and burning again to give pay back for what those Reapers did in Batarain space.

Really? Full Flamer damage spec Vorcha Soldier and Vorcha Sentinel (it's the same character as far as I'm concerned) are among my very favorites. Scores top more often than not, very easy to play.
I don't doubt the DPS of Flamer, I just hate it as a power. The sound of it is annoying, and it's inclusion in the game as a strategy is very unimaginative. A whole match of Flamer bores me to death, but this melee Vorcha was fun as all hell.

This is a cool BatSol build without the blade armor that has saved my ass so many times on the Batguard. With the Venom, ballistic blades and inferno grenades, he can really deal the deeps! I will try this... it's different!

SI - Saber
Nothing special really. Just recalled recently how much of a boss the SI is with this setup. Gear bonus for me is usually a cyclonic III because he doesn't really need anything else and it helps while I stand out in the open like a fool while unloading a clip. I find the build to be rather fun because the burst damage isn't as high as it can be with other weapons. You have to work for your kills.
Finally gave the QME with Adas build a try against the geth, and I was pleasantly surprised by the effectiveness of the setup.
I'm starting to find uses for the characters I had no idea how to play. Fully expected this build to suck, but it did just the opposite. I was holding the top line of the scoreboard until wave 8 or 9.
Activate ascension stance, Dark Channel the target -> shoot with warp ammo until it dies -> shoot whatever the DC jumped to (or cast DC anew).
P. S. Carnifex is a great pistol. And so is Phalanx. M-11 Suppressor, on the other hand - not so much.
P. P. S. Huntress also works, but is squishier - feels that way even with Cyclonics. On a bright side, her DC deals damage.

I've been using the Volus Adept a lot more lately, particularly with Hoochie's build, and having tons of fun. It's also an oddly nice feeling when friends ask for shields during heated firefights. The only drawback is off-host orbs being temperamental. And rolling down ramps. And not being able to go over obstacles. Fatty.

He's on Console, where there are actual triggers, so charge weapons don't cause cramps and semi-autos don't cause carpal tunnel. That's reserved for PC play
