I don't even know where to start...
So you're saying Javelin GI is bad? Is that what I got wrong? Then I don't know where to start myself.
Your self-assurance, for a guy with less than 270 hours in the game, is simply astonishing.
I'm good at theory-crafting, what can I say. And I have as much as 270 hours of experience to back it up. If there's controversy on which one is better, X or Y, I won't make any judgements without trying both. So yeah, I played Javelin GI, I played Claymore GI and I played Piranha GI. Maybe Raider, too. Don't remember.
P. S. Just look at the builds and the numbers, for crying out loud. GI might have accuracy boost going for it mid-range, but once you're close AIU will laugh out loud at your attempts to kill anything as fast as she does. Also, not having cloak rank 6 is doing it wrong, and using a weapon that cloak 6 is not bonused for - doubly so.
show him the courtesy of saying something like "why is that so, why do you think like that, I think you're wrong because...".
I thought it was pretty obvious that I already asked, but if you need me to spell it out, here goes: where is the mistake(s) in my reasoning?
P. P. S. I've already had this discussion a year ago. There was a thread called something like "AIU - the ultimate shotgun platform", and it was a pretty long and constructive thread. I can't find it, though, looks like it got removed while I was not visiting the forum. Too bad. Bottom line - we've pretty much reached the conclusion: GI may be better for regular shotguns (depending on how close you are to the target, I suppose), but with Reegar AIU outclasses everyone.
