Won't call it incredibly fun, but it works so much better than expected that I feel like sharing: Collector's rifle ACA.

The last time I used Collector's rifle was on Silver and I hated it, but now that I have max lvl rifle and equipment, it works very well on Gold. I'm surprised how fast Scions and Praetorians melt. Ascension Stance - Dark Channel - shoot - repeat. And don't forget to summon the swarms for 40% damage reduction.

 

Yes, it's a pretty awesome weapon. The only drawback is the maximum distance. You shoot it in quick pulses, right? No continuous beam? Ammo lasts longer that way, which means more dps. :P

Right - single shots, double at most. It's a semi-auto SR with 30 rounds in the mag and no recoil, not too bad :)

Non-melee Spitfire Juggernaut is pretty fun! I'm not sure whether or not to take Hardened Platform 6b. So far I have taken it, and I rarely had to use melee for shield restoration, but when I did - that extra 50% was a lifesaver.

Non-melee Spitfire Juggernaut is pretty fun! I'm not sure whether or not to take Hardened Platform 6b. So far I have taken it, and I rarely had to use melee for shield restoration, but when I did - that extra 50% was a lifesaver.

 

Before going the all 6 route for my Jug, I would skip final Siege Pulse evolution for at least 3 points in shields. And I always go Hardened Platform on him, especially now since I glitch him to get the shield to help counter that Hardened Platform dmg reduction penalty. Going 6a fitness also means you should really consider the bigger shield too, since you need more cover from being more fragile.

 

The shield is nice because it provides more freedom to be wherever you want to me. But if you can do fine without it, then don't worry about it.

 

 

For the Spitfire, always go for extended mag with either EB with Armour Ammo or HVB with Incindiary ammo. As this is the true Spitfire experience.

 

Jug already gets stability passives that I find enough if it works off host. And since I always go Adren Mods on him, I'd go Barrage Gear instead for more. But since your Spitfire is still only level 1, I can't understand you wanting the AR Gear instead.

 

On my new PS3 account I just unlocked a Spitfire 1 too, only too bad I don't have HVB yet...

Also the Vorcha flamers, I made them anti kids-noob-lazy-casual... YES, I made them NON FLAMERS, melee and shotgun users. Kind of fun because they can regenerate health after getting close and fight.

Is claymore turian soldier a thing? Don't usually care for claymore but I guess I like it ok on the turian soldier. Been playing this setup a lot lately, 63566, been inadvertently making some hosts bail their own games early on due to epeen shrinkage.

Is claymore turian soldier a thing? Don't usually care for claymore but I guess I like it ok on the turian soldier. Been playing this setup a lot lately, 63566, been inadvertently making some hosts bail their own games early on due to epeen shrinkage.

 

I generally go for weapons that benefit more from Marksman but Claymore works great on the TS. In fact, almost every weapon works great on him.

I would think vanilla Human is a more appropriate soldier class for Claymore, though. Isn't it?

Hmm. At first I was wondering if I'll be missing much without the extended clip, but once I started playing it immediately became clear to me that the default clip is perfectly enough. I'm still spraying for a long time non-stop, and reload is quick as long as you reload-cancel. Extended clip really seems like waste of a slot.

Executioner Huntress. I had been using the Crusader on her, which I still like, but having Warp Ammo IV with a power magnifier on top of a power amp IV and commando package is insane, Mooks were dying of Dark channel before I could even reload to shoot them a second time.

One of my first UR guns I have barely used since Silver, and one of my first Batarians I have barely used since Silver. Together at last for... a surprisingly potent combination. Warp Ammo + Warp + Grenades = GG, and Lash is just there for flinging Phantoms and Abominations at bad PUGs to get them out of my hair.

But you already have a non-flamer Vorcha with higher movement speed so wouldn't he be the better choice?

I was grinding Executioner points on the AA (which I didn't enjoy) when I thought I'd try it on the AHI. *mind blown* I think I've got a whole bunch of pistols I need to try on her.

I'm pretty sure you can fire like 3-4 round bursts (or maybe even 5 rounds) without losing any ammo.  That would be how you maximize your DPS.  I'm not sure what the exact number is though.  I find it easier just to pretend it's the Raptor.

I see it basically never in PUGs, but I use it every now and then.  Definitely does the job, and then some.

Turian Soldier with the Saber.

 

I never would have tried this on console because I knew I would suck.  First game on PC got 20 headshot medal, and every game since.

 

This must be what it feels like to be Garrus.

Melee Female Quarian Infiltrator.

 

Sabotage while Cloaked>Heavy Melee>SPLORT on most enemies :)  Can't wait till I get the batarian gauntlet for her.

 

I like my femquarians but hate their "intended" use so I'm trying different things.  Still can't figure out what to do with my FQE though.  I don't like the fire and ice so I usually buff the turret for assist points and hang back sniping with her.

 

Also when I had a Destroyer on 360, going Revenant with constant missiles in devastator mode. I almost never put points into the grenades (Unless it glitches and gives me the bonus points to max everything out, which happens frequently on PC it seems...).  I know most don't like Revenant but I love that thing.

This is what I do with the Spitfire Juggy.

 

I only go to R4 in Fitness and put 4 in the Turret.  I sometimes take Hex Shield instead of the extra damage shield, but usually not.  I don't think the Spitfire needs the Extended Mag, since its mag is plenty big enough already.  I also don't think the Spitfire needs a lot of stability.  It has a little bit of side-to-side movement at long range, but it doesn't have much if any muzzle climb.  I think the AP mod and Extended Barrel with Incendiary Ammo is the best setup for Gold because it's by far the best against mooks, but the HVB and Extended Mag is probably a better setup for Platinum.
