Oh! Yes, this is definitely the way I want it to be. For one, with Reegar cheese power damage is next to irrelevant. Otherwise I can just take Power Amp IV. Shield = survivability, especially for Krogan who have no dodge.

In my build it is. I suppose with cheese you don't need those power damage passives either, but I don't want to specialize the kit so narrowly. I play it different ways and don't want to re-spec every time. Yes, I'd rather have 50% power damage over 150% shields in armor equipment, if I need that power damage in the first place. I don't use cyclonics on Gold. I have 50+ power amps IV versus 5 cyclonics IV + 5 cyclonics III. My favorite equipment for Gold is Adrenaline Mod.

Krogan passives are sort of underwhelming anyways unless you're considering the weight option which is only really useful for one power which is carnage. I'd probably go with some amalgamation that foregos maxing passives on him. If you're running cyclonics a lot maxing the DR on fortification works out to be more effective probably like a 66644 build, if not I would do a blend that gave me the extra power damage somehow.

Hmm. At first I was wondering if I'll be missing much without the extended clip, but once I started playing it immediately became clear to me that the default clip is perfectly enough. I'm still spraying for a long time non-stop, and reload is quick as long as you reload-cancel. Extended clip really seems like waste of a slot.

 

You mean you don't come into situations with the Spitfire where you dread having to reload then wait for the ramp up again? Because yeah, cancel reload barely saves it since it takes forever to ramp up the Spitfire again. Think of all the epeen points your losing!

 

I find the Spitfire the most fun when I have enough enemies in sight to empty an entire extended mag Spitfire clip. Plus why it's so important that only Destroyer, Jug, Batarians, Krogans and Volus handle the Spitfire since they can actually move to search for more targets while the fire button is still being held. This is what the Spitfire is all about. Non-stop suppressive firepower.

 

 

PS - don't forget to earn those 20 headshot medals with Spitfire either.

I tried a Kishock BatSent since I remember trying it last year and don't remember if I liked it. Unfortunately, I tried it off-host.

 

After a few waves of suffering, I thought, "Wait, can I shockwave hatesurf? I'm specced for range..." And it works.

Graal + Shockwave hatesurf = Bully full of graal as you surf and wind up the punch. Good times.

Between the drone and Overload enemies get a one-way ticket to Stun-lock City, allowing me to pepper them with Scorpion shots and watch them explode. First build I've ever actually liked the Scorpion on. (You could also drop Fitness and take Incinerate instead, but the Hurricane hasn't let me down before against armor.)

^^ it would appear so...Plus there is this girl that streams ME3 multiplayer named Starbuck2190...she is really funny regardless of what she is playing. I used to check out Twitch to see if I could get in a match or 2 with some Xbox streamers then destroy them on their own broadcast...Such good feeling's.  I saw you Bud Halen in a Silver stream the other day was Condor/Collector's..I know, I am kinda creepy to remember that

Was I a Volus (Merc) by chance?  I hit Silver lobbies for my shakiest performing set-ups, etc.

 

And who the hell streams a Silver level match for a frigging 3-yr old game?

But as you alluded, I suppose it would have to be less about the gameplay -- and more about the entertaining personality to retain followers.

Props on the HUMANGINEER, but no chain overload?

 

Damn shame they nerfed the drone, we shoudl be able to trade it for a geth style turret.

Spec: 4/4/6/6/6 with the sub net going for duration and incinerate for damage. Bloodlust is built around extra health, weapon damage, speed/melee boost. 

 

Weapon: Executioner with heavy barrel and scope

 

Consumables (Gold up): AP4, Pistol Amp 3 and Adrenaline 3. Cyclonics with the low base shields don't feel worth it

 

Gear; Barrage. I figure this one will raise a few eyebrows, but the reasoning is the executioner, while powerful, kicks like a mule and the shots are stable with the barrage package.

Cryo Turian solider with Krysae. I'd always built him with Marksman and Prox Mine, but decided to try switching him to Conc Shot and Prox Mine once I realized that the Krysae is a Turian gun.

 

He's just as effective as the vanilla human cryo soldier, but the extra toughness means that playing him on gold is a very relaxing experience, as opposed to scramble-rolling all over the place and worrying about continually having to get more grenades.

Turian Soldier with N7 Piranha. That thing is a killer.   (and yes, I'm late to the Fat Turian party and still learning the whole no dodge thing.) 

N7 Fury with Venom. I just... I've played her with the Arc Pistol for so long and I still love that setup. But I kept seeing that people mention using her with a shotgun and so I tried. And this ultimate screenshake is so much fun I can't resist.

Actually, this is exactly what I had been doing with the SI before I stumbled across the Krysae's text description - somehow I'd gotten it into my head that the Krysae is a Salarian gun, and I try to use species-appropriate guns when possible (on gold, anyway).

 

So, yeah, everything you say here is true (obviously). Very different playstyle than the TSol, though, and it's nice to also have those kind of relaxing Zen kits that just sort of rhythmically play themselves.

I'd also like to shamelessly self promote and point out that the QMI can make the gun useful as well. You can either throw Arcnades into a group and then quite easily OHK all the now shieldess enemies with the rifle, or hit them first with Incendiary/disruptor/ cryo ammo then set of tech explosions with the grenades.

Tried the Venom on the Human Soldier...good need more practice, but fun

 

And returned to Falcon GI (annoying but effective, carrying Talon as backup)

I recently started using the Turian Havoc on the new account. Never really liked him before because Havoc Strike always seemed kinda useless and a death sentence if you weren't careful.

But I put the Piranha on him and only used strike at safe moments and it's been working out
