I dunno why I thought to try it but omni capacitors on the jug. I already do an incendiary adas/siege pulse build but it's just crazy now with 24/7 siege pulses. I never thought I'd use omni capacitors seriously but I'm never using anything else on my jug.
I'll try that when I get around to the Juggernaut Wave Challenge.

Having witnessed this for a few waves yesterday, I can attest that it is very impressive.

It was nice of you not to mention that game. Can't believe I went down as a jug on silver. I thought I could kite all those bosses around but I shoulda just missiled.

Late Silver waves are about as bad as middle Gold waves, really. It was Silver, admittedly, because we were experimenting with kits/setups for a challenge. Was good to see you ![]()

The BF3 soldier is so dumb. He's so dumb! He can't help it, though, seeing that he comes from the land of Modern Military Man-Shoots, where there's an IQ cap.
After my recent discovery about how primers and detonators of different kinds of explosions work, I thought I'd try him with disruptor ammo to see if I could successfully make tech burst/fire explosion chains happen. The answer is not…really, though I suspect that this is due to Carnage being an iffy primer more than anything else.
I've also been trying to wean myself off of putting any points into Fitness on the squishy types, so I created this unholy abomination. It doesn't seem like it should work, but maybe for that reason, I've been having a lot of fun playing him.
Some notes:
Adren Rush is really just there as a poor man's spec op packs. I don't ever use it unless I'm in a bad neighborhood and need some quick shield recharge.
Carnage 5a should probably be 5b, since 5a doesn't seem to ever actually work.
Frag Grenades 4a could be 4b if you prefer, but I find that 6.5m is usually enough radius, especially since the explosion doesn't penetrate cover. 5b could also be switched to 5a, if you really want to go nuts with the grenade spam.
The Paladin could probably usefully be anything else - it's mostly on this guy for theme - but it does work out very well with Carnage's cooldown. The time it takes to empty the Paladin's clip matches the cooldown almost exactly, meaning that you can cast Carnage to reload-hide consistently.

Disruptor Krysae Vanilla Human Soldier!

He's like the Cryo Soldier, but better because he has Disruptor Ammo. Capable of topscoring and carrying lolpugs to victory. In a team of BSNers, he doesn't score quite as high, but still provides metric butt tonnes of stagger. If you get Geth, you can even give them a taste of their own medicine!
In this game, the GI was an (unsuccessful) scorewhore, who didn't help with objectives, and ultimately ragequit. The Warlord was one of those guys who deliberately rushes spawns and gets stomped/synced so he can AFK the entire game. It was basically a duo with me and the N7 Destroyer, and he was only level 12.

The Electric Eel.
Aka "QMI w/ N7 Piranha."
Limited weapon selection on my alt account led me to this. Cloaked Piranha damage is always nice, and the Arc Grenades are the icing on the cake.
Debating whether to give him a side arm for hacks and the like. Closing in isn't always an option.

ULM SMG weighs like 3%, no reason not to take one really

Wait wait wait...did we stop shunning sidearm users? Did I miss the memo?
OT - @Ranylyn - cloak + Piranha is indeed nasty. TacScan or no? SMR speaks the truth on bringing a sidearm with the Piranha. Since it's an infiltrator, though, you can cheat on weight restrictions. Arc Pistol!

since Piranha isn't weight glitchable, you really don't lose much by bringing a ULM sidearm.
I'd second the suggestion for Arc Pistol. Lolcloak don't care about no frelling weight, and it is lore friendly and makes every quarian about 10% sexier/ more sophisticated. I ran the same setup on my newer QFI for awhile, though the Piranha was more the sidearm because I didn't want to look dumb equipping shocktrooper (my only grenade gear) without a shotgun

Thanks for the feedback, guys. And it does indeed have Tacscan, but at a relatively low level considering I was focusing on Fitness. QMR can probably attest that I don't use it as much as I probably should.
I'd probably ditch the Piranha for the Arc Pistol completely if I had it on my alt. Sadly, I do not. Still, I'll keep that in mind for once I have more variety.
Upon checking my Alt's Manifest...

... I don't have any ULM at all yet. So maybe I'll stick to the N7 Eagle as my primary weapon in the meanwhile or something.

yeah, Eagle or Locust would be the best sidearms to put on him with a Piranha if you want something to do during hacks/ escorts or need to play the ranged RHA game that the shotgun isn't as good at. They'll give you anywhere from 45-65% PRS at your current levels, which is still good for off host, though you are in desperate need of mods.
This is how I'd run him on your manifest, though I like running autosnipers on him a lot so you could probably ignore that. Basically, no high level grenade gear means that you use the grenades for area shield stripping and pack a powerful anti health/ armor ammo. May even want to consider the extra grenade at rank 5 instead of the DOT, since you'll probably kill everything long before 8 seconds, if you don't care about not being able to troll biotics as well.

QMR: Thanks, I'll consider that. I mostly try to go high fitness since I know I'm not amazing or anything, but I'm low on consumables anyways, so I can practice low fitness in Silver for sure. After all, cloaking stops the shield recharge anyways, so at that point, what ultimately matters most is Shield Gate, right?
Smeckie: For extra fun, try it with the Falcon or Acolyte; amazing at priiming AoEs, and that stagger! Falcon shot into Concussive Shot inmto Falcon into... (etc) ragdolls anything that CAN be ragdolled, phantoms included, so it's a lot of fun. As well, Acolyte = Stripped Shields = really able to emphasize on that armor damage boost on the grenades.

In my opinion, the CSMG takes a little fun out of it being a power-based soldier since you'll still shoot stuff up. I prefer watching the pugs scramble to pick off kills before my DOTs destroy the entire map ;p

Posté 13 juin 2015 - 02:19
^ But it should work on the HS with CS because of very quick CS cooldowns. Each time you fire a CS, you CSMG recharges plenty of ammo to help maintain ammo capacity. Should basically feel like you can shoot forever. But... for best results, you need to have it leveled up somewhat. Infinite ammo weapons benefit the most for leveling up.

Well, yeah, obviously. I just... like watching the pugs struggle to get points against my DOTs. CSMG on top of that is just... overkill.

ADAS or Scorpion on any marksman kit. Scorpion against phantoms is especially pleasing.

This one. Normally run her with either a Wraith, CSMG, or Lancer. But decided to work on some sniper challenges the other day and grabbed this beast. Been a while since I last used it and it's just filthy with her. Ammo choices are open to whatever you feel like cheezing with. Incendiary is fun when you have someone tagging along that can set off fire explosions rapidly. Most of the time you can't throw a warp as fast as others can with concussive shot or throw, etc. Works out well.

Basically, headshot everything, and use CS to detonate. MM for quick reloads and for when you face a spawn and don't want to stop shooting. PM to debuff big stuff for your team and for when you encounter 2 Marauders or Centurions at once.
Right now I'm running Incendiary because I'm in the mood for FEs. Disruptor doesn't work so well, cryo can be fun as it is on the HSol. The Incisor is there as a sidearm because occasionally you want to be able to do some damage from cover at a distance, and in cover on the TSol it's pretty accurate.
I had a lot of fun with this setup today on White vs Rippaz.

Saber TGI. I hated the Saber's refire rate and am generally terrible with the TGI but after hearing how much everyone loves the Saber I decided to try it out. Holy hell, I've been playing that kit all wrong! ![]()
