I can't believe I'm saying this, but the Geth Juggernaut... with the Mantis I....

Also recommend using the Javelin or Widow over the Mantis.  But all I have is a Mantis I, QQ.

 

I love the JaveliJugg. My favorite is to unload the my supersoaker into boss units and just light melee cancel stagger attacks. DPS takes a boost when you can eat so many hits before getting gated. Up to 6 m of piercing makes up for not being able to cover much distance. Just 360 scope > locate spawn > drench enemies.

 

Yeah, it is very underused for no reason, but it's so OP, people don't even realize it! 

Mainly hip-fire it, since I believe it's one of the SRs that doesn't - or has very little hip-firing penalty.

And burst fire of course, if you don't want to spend the wave waiting for your gun to cool off

 

The scope is magnificent compared to other snipers. I almost always scope for mook headshots unless I'm in panic mode. TCPs are great for bypassing reload time with non-grenade classes. If you empty the clip more than 6 times then need moar practice.

After playing this game for about 7 months I finally tried the human vanguard.

Volus Engineer. Put a Locust on him and spam proximity mines (near-instant recharge). And Recon mines provide so much useful intel if properly placed.

 

Also, Turian soldier w/ weapon damage, Concussive Shot and Marksman maxxed and outfitted with the Particle Rifle (with extended mag). Give him an Assault Rifle Amp III and any level of Incendiary Ammo (that can be detonated with Concussive shot), and he eats up EVERY boss in the game.

Locust is fun on the TSol for the same kind of reasons.

Actually using APIII on Plat.

 

I started doing that as I wanted to look and take note of the frequency and the amount of time it takes for the turret to prime targets. IA skews this so I couldn't tell when I was getting FEs in the kill-feed of the 3+6 IA/Overload vs the 6+6 turret/overload.

 

I might go to IA as he'd be a FE machine, but for now still doing some observing.

 

Also, I need to read the "turret thread," coz would the IA ammo you have be used by the turrets gun?  And if so, would it be a 6+6 detonation due to turret spec, or would it be the level of the ammo+6 overload?

Drell adept with Harrier, because I'm a big try hard !  Such a killing machine. The Harrier low ammo capacity isn't too annoying with this character because the Reave + Cluster combo destroys big armors. Anyway the DA is going to visit the ammo boxes frequently to refill his grenades stock.

Agreed.  This is how I run mine as well.  Not to mention that the DA can visit ammo boxes 20% more frequently than most!

Geth Infiltrator 4/5/6/6/5 with Harrier and Piranha.  Take Harrier w/ stability and ext. mag.  Take Piranha w/ smart choke and dmg barrel.  Take Drill rounds.  Take either Assault Rifle or Shotgun Rail Amp.  Take whatever gear makes you most happy.

 

Protocol:  Find good defensive location w/ decent LoS at range.  Hold your position with the Harrier.  When more than a couple enemies make it within your 15m Hunter Mode range, switch to the Piranha.

 

The best part about this build is that it makes running out of Harrier ammo something to look forward to: "Ahhhh, chucks... all out of Harrier ammo, guess I'll just have to switch to my Piranha...what a bummer...lolz"

This is my GI build I made recently that works for my playstyle.

Basically taking advantage of the 11 sec duration cloak to get near enemies while dropping aggro on your teammates like the bastard infiltrators we are hurr hurr.

Then do your basic repetitive combo:

Shoot proxy mine -----> then fire off claymore shot. Or vice versa if you wanna feel fancy or take advantage of incendiary ammo for easy FEs

 

I used spare thermal clip instead of smart choke to me at least it doesn't feel as bad without while using hunter mode alone to compensate for accuracy loss. And with this build I can kill more enemies and not go to the ammo box as much because 35 claymore shots is fkn amazing. 

 

Won't be able to use in long range as reliably with smart choke which is the drawback of this build.
