I prefer pull on my drell adept even on plat.
Pull acolyte is great against unshielded mooks
Acolyte pull reave is unstoppable against shielded mooks
Reave acolyte cluster against unshielded armour
Acolyte reave cluster against shielded armour
For bosses its reave acolyte reave acolyte reave acolyte (removes shields) then reave smg against armour (season with reave and cluster nade to taste)

Whereas the justicar with max shields, reave dr, warp bubble and disciple ft. Backup smg is also super effective on plat. I don't think pull really helps her. Imo anyway.

Batarian Vanguard with Piranha and Incendiary rounds. Fire explosions everywhere with the Biotic Charge. Found a ramp and Banshees/Brutes were no problem.

Cryo Blast, Havoc Strike, Shotgun.

on gold and above?

I really tried to give the havoc a chance recently. with Saber, to make use of his stability bonus.

but compared to the characters I usually use he really lacked DPS. could have been me, though.

If the shotgun in that equation is an Incendiary Reegar, he is arguably even cheesier than the AIU.  Havoc Strike can be used defensively to totally negate incoming attacks such as Atlas rockets, as well as nearly instantaneous travel to enemy spawns.

Generally I use either Havoc Strike or Cryo Blast, I don't bother to stack both.  Havoc Strike when it is safe, Cryo Blast when it is not.

AR focused human soldier with claymore, after reading RoboticSuperman's topic.  With vanguards, soldiers are my least played class, and the vanilla HS having nothing that goes towards challenge points, I've tended to stick to the cryosoldier build.  Definitely enjoyed this one more though, even managed to make it work replacing the claymore with the scorpion on a randomizer platinum game.

Actually, if you do things right a Havoc can be very strong on gold. The main drawback of that kit, to me, is that it's even more lag dependant than vanguards :/

Give him the Raider or Piranha.  You're going to be up in their face anyway, may as well take a weapon which takes advantage of that.

I prefer to take a graal with optional omniblade to take advantages of-
-the ability to have and an effective havoc strike>h.melee>havoc strike>h.melee build
-an accurate and powerful shotgun with armour piercing
-to be able to shoot the charged graal while in the havoc strike charge animation for extra stagger

Cryo ammo for extra debuffs
Disruptor to help with shields and stagger
Fire for op-ness
Explosive isn't all that terrible on him

DONT TAKE AP OR DRILL ROUNDS ON THE GRAAL PUGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously give it a go!

@ brannigan good to see I've bought some more attention to one of the character that even bioware forgot. And cryo soldier is great! But similar cryo destroyer here http://kalence.drupa...34D51324!AF.9GO
Or drop some fitness and add some nades.

The Havoc Strike is just for fun. I use it on Silver. But the thread is called 'recent builds that you've discovered to be incredibly fun', so I wrote it here.

I don't go for Decoy on the Salarian Engineer. I don't think I ever seen an enemy actually attacking the decoy.

I've only played the Havoc a couple of times on Gold, but I was gleefully Havoc Striking on both occasions and generally managed to get away with it.  Off-host, too.  Admittedly, I did cheese it with cyclonics and gear for extra stimpacks, and the lobbies were strong on both occasions.

My build: http://kalence.drupa...!23W53363!93G9C

And yeah, it is fun, I think he's the most fun of all the turian characters.

if you choose the shock evo and place it in a doorway, the enemies will ignore it and try to walk past, then they will get shocked by decoy and try attacking it.
I have been unsuccessful at distracting enemies with decoy any other way.

The shock and explode evos are essential IMO, but yeah position it in pinch points for it to be most effective.

Full Melee Vorcha Engineer (I know this is not a new build, but I only tried and fell in love with it a few months back.)

I use Incendiary/Graal with him (omniblade of course.) On Xbox, I have 3 ranks in Submission Net, and on PS3 I toyed with speccing out of it entirely. I have decided to pause here and actually make a thread, because I want to ask about submission net (I have a great deal of trouble making any kind of effective use of it.)

Submission net is for tangling up phantoms.  I don't really get much more use out of it.  I go the electric field route with it, to stun mooks briefly.

I had a go at playing Quarian Marksman with Talon.  Did some Silvers yesterday to get a feel for it, then a couple of Golds this afternoon.  The first one, versus Reapers, was a bit messy; the second, versus geth, was a lot of fun.

The Talon is crude compared with, say, the Valkyrie or Saber.  But it is effective; it's easy for a scrub like me to aim

I have a hard time thinking about something I'd fear more than a MM'd Talon, if I were in Cerberus lines...

Poor Guardians must despair that they were given a useless slab of steel instead of Marksman training.

Annoying undyne the undying geth build

http://kalence.drupa...!24T53384!8A.EG

A tank with a flamethrower and the ability to roll away from phantoms combined with the amazing crowd control of the venom shotgun with warp rounds makes this guy stupidly good at melting the competion ;D

With a HS build you benefit a lot from being host, especially the stim packs don't work if there is lag. He's a monster with the Reegar, but I'll admit that he's quite tricky vs platinum Collectors.

Stand behind the corner and unload the gun, watch the confused enemies for fun.
