This is pretty much my exact setup, except I take detonation radius on Tech Armour (for phantoms up close) and carry an Acolyte if I'm hosting, also for phantoms. It's an awesome build though, the Lancer perfect on pretty much every Turian.

 

As for stuff I discovered myself, I've been putting the Saber on a lot of classes recently and it's great. My favourite is probably the Geth Engineer, Hunter Mode bonuses and Overload really make the gun shine.

I can attest tho this Fullspec totally destroyed things with this guy in the game I played with him.  I have not played the Tsent in ages and ages, I'll have to give it a go.  I'm a little uncertain on how to make best use of warp and Overload.

I don't think I meleed any Atlases, but I could kill pretty much anything else I could get close enough to. The downside was that GI has such low health, and I spent a lot of the match without shields, so with all the tricky sight lines on Reactor, I was really easy to take down. I'm not the most skilled player out there, though, and I'm sure many BSNers would have better luck staying on their feet with this build.

 

 

True that..shield recharge on him with that setup is kinda slow....also...Did you get any killstreaks with the melee?

Just Warp armour and Overload shields, then shoot. Detonate Tech Armour if a phantom gets close. It's not particularly difficult to play.

I used to have more issues with him, but a friend who plays platinum more regularly than me advised me to try out adrenaline mod on him. I found my survivability went through the roof with adrenaline mod far more useful than the cyclonics I used to run on him.

When you have a maxxed manifest you try silly things

 

not high scoring and obviously slow, but still fun

 

3 games and got grabbed once (while I had my backup equipped)

The Sptifire makes most kits more amusing, wouldn't you agree? I liked it on the Warlord, since he hardly moves anyway.

N7 Destroyer soldier with 0-6-6-6-6. Forget Devastator mode. Since the other two things are Frag Grenades and the Hawk Missile launcher, neither really requires a cool-down, so you can spec the heavier weapons without worrying about re-charge. I chose all the shield upgrades possible, then I just leave the Hawk on full-time. Add in a heavy assault rifle (like the Cerberus Harrier) w/Assault Rifle III bonus, plus a heavy weapon (like the Claymore shotgun or Javelin sniper), plus the Shock Trooper package, and watch the carnage unfold...

Tac Scan the big things then proceed as above

 

Makes a total joke of Phantoms too

I used to run that as my Platinum carrying setup as well.

 

Then I tried him with a Talon and never looked back.

Collector Adept specced 3/6/6/6/5, built for weapon damage, using Warp 4 ammo w/PPR.

 

Done right, you can singlehandedly mow down entire spawns, focusing on whatever the Dark Channel moves to. With something like 5000 DPS, 3000 shields(w/cyclonic IV+swarms), an insane dodge, stagger on demand, AOE damage on demand...the thing is an unstoppable beast.

Cryo blast + shoot + incinerate = glorious cryo explosions. I spent a whole match doing this, only using the sentry turret to soften up bosses. It was a lot of fun, moreso than the Paladin which is one of my favourite kits. Not knowing whether or not that incinerate will detonate a cryo explosion is part of the fun I think, and I don't need to be breathing down the enemies necks to get them.

Cryo ammo or incendiary?

 

I'm a scrub that plays mostly Bronze, so neither. If I were to play Silver or above with that kit, I'm honestly not sure which ammo I'd choose. Incendiary can panic organics plus has burn damage, so could might not require quite as many bullets. On the other hand, cryo can be useful for slowing down bosses and armoured enemies, on top of freezing/chilling mooks, so I guess that'd work too. Hmm, will have to try it out, I'll get back to you on that later.

I never really got to much action with Destroyer aka dakka Typhoon cause I only use Claymore on him but I figured -200 CD doesn't mean a thing for this guy so I slapped the Thphoon on as well and that turned out to be very fun.
