Volus. Never liked them, but now they're much stronger. They must have L2P since then.

I think i played it with falcon, talon and mostly scimitar (love the sound and the shitty damage dont count here)
Is acolyte priming fast enough ?

Yeah one shot plus cs kills most mooks plus you can shoot it while you're running. Take all power damage evos in passive and power mod and power amp, all bonus damage evos in cs and grenades, and you will obliterate organic enemies.

This.

But 2 out of 3 games I get Geth with my Cryosoldier.

When I unlocked a Claymore last week on my alt, the first thing I did was switch to the Cryo Soldier. Glorious.  :D

I tried the acolyte, and I prefer the higher RoF of the Falcon. Now also thinking of trying the Adas (its sound may prevent me from doing it, though)

Also tried this, and once you get the timing right for reload hiding it's indeed glorious.

Acolyte can be fired while running and has a huge shield and barrier bonus and is lighter though, acolyte+csmg or hurricane and you're still at 200%, to each their own though. Adas is pretty good on cryo soldier too, plays a little different.

Quarian Female Engineer

Sentry Turrent: Rockets in level 6.

Cryo Blast: level 6

No Incinerate.

Krysae Sniper Rifle. With Cryo or Incendiary. N7 Hurricane with armor piercing mod.

Enjoy.

The best thing about the Krysae is that you don't even need to be a good shot. The pleasure of Cain Trip Mines without having to aim at the ground.

Rocket Turret is fine, Cryo Blast lvl. 6 a must. But why on earth no Incinerate? And how are you dealing with shields?

I guess it takes ages to take down a single Geth Bomber with Cryo Krysae using that setup.

I like QFE very much and I like to try different builds, but on which difficulty did you have pleasure with your build?

No incinerate because I find putting down a turret and then alternating between Cryo Blast and Krysae shots to be very smooth. It takes 3 shots to take down a typical Geth unit shielded or no. The good thing about Krysae is that it's extremely good at crowd control and can take down multiple enemies if theyre huddled together.

The turret actually has decent dps on Gold.

I tried this setup against Geth Gold. Teice I think .Top scored both times.

I also used the rifle on HFE and HFA with the same effect.

Striker with Batsol. I don't really know why I never used the Striker before, but I had an extremely entertaining time today literally letting Phantoms dance. :-D

... The build itself doesn't matter that much in this case. I usually go for some durability with Batarians, so it's usually a 46466 for BatSol (I tend to forget about those grenades too often...), but I guess no other race enjoys dancing phantoms as much as batarians.

Arc Pistol with any class that has a hitscan stagger like Turian Sentinel, Asari Justicar, Paladin etc. Makes it so easy to line up headshots.

Valiant. I used it on a 66606 Asari adept in a gold / Ghost / Cerberus game. The 3 shots + the reload match exactly the Warp's cooldown (more generally it fits with any power whose cooldwon is 2,46s at 200% recharge speed) so I could Warp / shoot / Throw in a quick succession. Using Warp rounds 3 and a sniper amp 3, I was able to one-headshot kill stased soldiers, two-headshots kill stased Nenemes and Phantoms. Only Dragoons closing up where a little annoying, but nothing that the Warp / Throw combo can't solve.

Then I put it on the salarian engineer with disruptor rounds. It also matched his cooldowns and primed reliably for tech bursts (usually in one hit), so it was pretty good too.

Light, synergy with most powers, decent dps and, of course, excellent accuracy ... the Valiant is not the Arc pistol or the Black Widow but it's quite an omni-tool that I should use more often, even more that I have a ton of sniper amps since I tend to use them only on infiltrators.

something makes me dislike it, and that might be the few waves/games it takes to get use to

I've been frustrated at times with the Valiant too, as there aren't many setups that let you one-headshot kill with this gun. The asari adept is the most fun I've found so far.

I like it too on the DAI sniper build. High movement speed + high RoF + fast reload = very dynamic gameplay. With all the DAI's weapon damage + the debuff and explosion from Recon Mine, you can eliminate groups of mooks extremely fast.

I've played the AA a lot when I was still young and handsome, but put her on the shelf for a long time. I don't really know why, because the kit has practically everything you need to deal with threats. I guess it was the abundant projectile power dodging putting me off back then.

Not really new but Drell adept with Avenger. AP barrel, extended mag, Warp IV, Warfighter/Grenade Cap. My Drell is a cluster build (pull is friggin obsolete vs CG/Reave) with a power/weapon damage split. Drell can make any weapon OP. I also quite enjoy the QFE with a Scimitar. Disruptor ammo to keep all tech explosions available and it works great as a mook sweeper.

The Valiant is the best SR for non-infiltrators, IMO.  My favorite Valiant setup is on the Justicar or Drell Adept with Warp Rounds.  Probably similar to the AA in gameplay, without the Stasis.  Obviously, the gun will play a little better on the Drell than on the Justicar, but I like the Justicar better for two reasons:  First, with the Drell, it's hard to fight the urge to nuke every spawn with Cluster Grenades, and you aren't really getting to use the Valiant much if you do that.  Second, the Justicar's tankiness is helpful because the Valiant requires you to spend more time scoped than OSK snipers do.  If something sneaks up on you with the Drell, you can be downed quickly.  With the Justicar, you can take a few hits, especially if you have DR from Reave + Bubble.

Try it on a Krogan, because FOR TUCHANKA!

(Striker KroSol is very fun, and with some Incendiary cheese is insanely effective too... and since you're humping ammo boxes for grenades anyways, the maddeningly low ammo capacity is less of an issue)

I like the CSR sometimes too. Great for ammo proc detonations and reasonable damage and probably no reason to ever look at an ammo box. Bit heavier but still decent.

Been having some fun with this...

So I made this build recently combines 2 of my favourite human soldier builds (the claymore build without concussive shot and the cryo ammo concussive shot build), I like it a lot. And I like the idea I have behind it. This build revolves around the human soldier that uses the claymore and cryo ammo IVs, with concussive shot. It has versatility in terms of doing high immediate damage via the claymore, and high amounts of DoT damage with the cryo ammo IVs with the concussive shot, spec'd for shatter and shredder alongside the frag grenades with the bleed damage

Another thing I like about this build, is that it's easier to stop a banshee's teleport phase just by priming her with cryo ammo and taking chunks of her barrier off through the concussive shot, as opposed to trying to shoot down her barriers with a claymore focused build without concussive shot, which takes longer to do.

Typically with this build I know so far (I haven't used it much yet) wrecks organics really really hard. I've only used it on reapers so far, I'd imagine it'd do pretty well on all the other factions minus geth and exceptions like atlas and cerberus turrets. Although I'd imagine you can alternatively stunlock the geth with concussive shot and still do decently well.

Build link.

Love me some Justicar.  Is that the Krysae or Phaeston?  I do like the Krysae on non-Infiltrators (Salarian Engineer especially).

CSR is pretty good on non-infiltrators, but it's so G-D filthy on infiltrators that it's tough for me to use it on anything else.

Clicky the pic for a link to build, I just took a random justicar gif that looked fun. Been using the Saber on her. I don't usually use the Saber. Nice gun, but not usually my go-to. Been having lots of fun with her, the saber, and AMIII speed. Can get off those offensive bubbles so much easier (and safer) with the speed boost on her.
